“HO HO HO!! Merry Christmas!!” Nah! That’s dumb.
I am overly sexited ‘cos I am having holiday!! Woohoo! That’s like ~14 day!! TWO bloody weeks!! Hang on a sec, minus few days from working extra shifts, meeting with work-related people, paying bills at whetever department (yeah, no onine payment)…I probably left 10 days for holiday.
I was excited, but now now anymore. I am over it. Honestly.

I am given holiday, and for one moment I have no idea what to do in my life. I lost my directions when I am not working, studying. I feel so miserable when there is a moment I have to take a quick break from my busy lifestyle. How strange is that? Tell me, does this happend to you before? Are you a workaholic???? AM I?? *scratch head*
I have so much to do…but I don’t know where to begin. *tears* There are only 3 and a half things in my life at this moment: work, uni, home(include boyfriend). and friends. Hopefully.
I rather go back to work. Wake up early in the morning, ride in my scooter, work…work…work.

There is one moment, I actually feel SHY when I talk to new friends. For all the sudden, I don’t know how to say Hello, Sorry, Thank You and Excuse Me. I lost my mind. Hey! I am not usually like this. My parents definitely won’t let me out without my polite social manners.
Oh! I don’t mean I am shy with these ppl in the photos…they are my mates from my class.

But yeah, it is my holiday. I need to do SOMETHING. Something to keep me busy.
I should do something to indulge myself, right? Such as…housework!!! Yes! :) I want to re-organise my pantry, I want to prune my roses so they all are ready for Winter. Yeah, I wanna update my blog more often too! *fingers crossed*
Hey..I can’t really seperate myself from busy lifestyle, can I? But I am happy and feeling contented thou. Do you usually feel the same way as well? Or it is just me? Tell me I am normal.

Anyhoo…those photos were taken months ago. I was chillaxing with my friends from my School. I had great time..too much to drink, and I didn’t even know how I got home that night. Nah! That’s just a joke. I am usually very seinsible. *ahem*

We did the usual thing on Good Friday (public holiday)–barbie at Synergy Parkland in Kings Park. (previously known as Western Power Parkland)

It was a fine day. Fine (good) Friday. The trees were all beautiful..with lovely sunshine.

Everything seem to be the same – people, food, atmosphere, easter chocolate eggs. Oh well, not exactly the same. It is kinda the same-That’s what I mean. Robert is not here this year, it’s like we missing out something. But one thing that will remain the same forever ever is Jesus sacrified Himself on the cross.

*take a deep breath* I am not Christian, but for a person who did for humanity, I personally think it is such a ‘WHOOAHHH’ thing.*respect* I always adore and admire people who do the right thing, these people have such a spirit and energy. For new millenium like this, no chance people could do the same thing to save the world. But I reckon, say the right thing, do the right work, all these tiny small things, even a smile!! They are all ‘WHOOOAHH’ things to me.

Me and Jo.

What a beautiful day. and taking a day off on Friday…ahh! That’s even betta!

Me looking all bored waiting for the food–beef, lamb, king prawn, scallop, giant squid, sausages, mushroom. Man! We ate alot

And I looked all happy again after the yummidelicious food ..and chocolate eggs! Yay! (from Jo)

Good Friday is public holiday in WA. It is a religious event, but when it become a public holiday, meaning it is celebrated by everyone–yellow, brown, black or white (chocolate, I mean)!!
No work, no school, no uni.

Those chocolate chicks were given by Fion to Jo, me and Kian; I picked the sunshine yellow one because it is the cutest among em’ all. [Just like me.] Erm, not that I fancy white chocolate the best. But.. yeah!

*ahem*

Yeah! I prefer dark chocolate still, I must say.

Anyhoo..wish you all have a nice and safe Easter.
Much love, Cynthia xoxo

Me and Kian celebrated our 6th year anniversary on Saturday.
SIX years. And we are still here. I never feel old in this relationship; it is like I just know him from yesterday.

We didn’t do anything particularly special. We both had to work on that day; Kian suggested we had Thai food..erm.. That is awesome! It is like…we steadily allow the feeling, the love, the emotion slowly perfused thru’ the aroma of basil, coriander, ginger. (the statment is abit the wrong, eh?)

I have quite a number of friends asking us : when you guys getting married?
I politely put up my smile and kindly answered: erm..good question, my gay friend[!]I would do so until you get a GIRL friend!!
While in my brain, me nearly wanted to add this statement: shuddup you gaytard!
bloody idiots, these ppl.

Is marriage is necessary in a relationship? You tell me.
I know me and Kian will get there eventually. But not at this stage. I want everything the best for our future. Oh well, I think we have the best for each other at this point already anyway. Not financially yet, but emotionally–we love each other. (mah deh! ai meh!? make me say this type of lovey dovey things that Kian already knew looong time ago? I damn shy one ok? :) ) Plus, we have been living together for awhile, we pretty much like a married couple, except his money still his money. Hahah! I was told once, when you get married, his money will become MY money. Haha! Cool eh?

SIX years. I think it is still a baby, especially when I look at our parents. They have been thru’ so much and countless hurdles in their life, whilst we are still in our comfort zone, being protected all the time. That’s why, I think six years is still nothing.
But yeah..you still have to congrat me and Kian thou –at least we are still standing strong here for each other
Finally, David Walliams and Matt Lucas are in town!!!! Finally. I bought the Live tickets months ago…and I finally got to see them in real life. *happy happy*

The auditorium was packed!!! And lotsa lotsa pommies !!! They are tall, big and..and with heavy cute English ascent!! Gosh! They are so cute!! Is like the first time…I feel like I am in a foreign country. So British!! And me…with my Manglish ascent, chatting with them…I am so cute too!!!
You gotta be proud of what you got there, dude. Just like me

Tiny two little us among thousands of people..

The English (obviously) couple who sat behind us were very funny as well. See! That guy sticked his hand behind us while he saw us taking this photo. How cute!

I was all excited and happy at every single moment–simple as that: watching Walliams and Lucas with Kian. (What a birthday weekend, eh? ;P )
Andy and Lou!!! I got so emotional when I saw them. Gosh! I thought watching comedy meant to be all laughing and giggling. What’s wrong with me? Sobbing?????

Every single character is hell funny. In fact, I could remember their famous lines so well…and I can even speak like them!!! Excpet for Vicky Pollard, she speaks too fast.

Ting Tong!!! Ting Tong Makadangdang!!!!

Vicky Pollard claimes Schapelle Corby is her friend…and her teacher enjoyed the turkey slap. Haha!

They adopted quite abit of aussie jokes, and they were really hilarious.

We sneak out for some junks over the break. I first thought the ‘bubbly’ means buble rice. Turn out..the buble is AIR!!!! The chocolate bar was hell ‘empty’.!!! Gosh! I want my solid full cream chocky bar!!

Eh eh eh….

Hello Perth!!!!

“Champaign for everybody!!!!!!”

Marjorie was looking for a fat fighter..I was so dying to become the new member for the performance…Bah. It didn’t get to happend at all. *sigh*

If I get to go on the stage..I would like to hug Matt Lucas!!!! I think this gay dude is hawt and cute!

Actually, I don’t mind Walliams, really.

But I reckon his arse is not that yummie.

haha!! Told ya~!!! Not that nice. But I like.

Finally!!! David Thomas—the only gay in the village!!!! My favorite character from Little Britain.

Result: Super happy me!

We don’t mean to taking photos, but I just couldn’t help seeing ppl flashing their cameras here and there. The thing is, I didn’t even use the flash!
Anyway.. for non-Little Britain fans, I must apologize, I have been very very obsessed ’cause I really like them, as much as I like Ricky Gervais.
Erm..I wundah, if I ever would met them somewhere in Perth?
A voice coming from behind my ear: Cynthia!!! Can you please stop dreamming, please lar~! People on earth wanna see good looking, hot body celeb…and you wanna see the big fat homogenous gay???”
SLAP!!!
OOOOk, I better stop dreamming and go back to reality. Night. *haiiii*
My Kian is done with uni. 365 days from today onward, it will be MY turn.

The first time taking photos in regalia. In case you are wondering, what pink color stands for. Pink is for Pharmacy nerds. Like me, Kian, and other pharmers who are reading this
The whole lot cost a BOMB! from the hat, regalia, studio photos. Graduation ceremony is very commercialised, I must say. Or just my uni? Like a suckking blood vampire–suckking students money like they suckking pork blood!?

Kian’s mum and dad wanted him to take photos everywhere. I think this is sweet. This graduation thingy doesn’t happen every year, innit? I enjoy taking photos for him, and seeing Kian smiling, walking everywhere he went that day, I just simply couldn’t help not for my tears falling off.
You know..after all the tears, sweat, emotions a pharmer geek had been thru.
Honey! You deserve this!

Having daddy Lee tidying up his regalia before taking more photos.

AH! Now! That’s so much betta~!

Meet mama and daddy Lee:

Kian inherits mama Lee long and straight eye lashes.

And daddy Lee’s coolie part. They both are sooooo sooooo quite. My aunty thinks if Kian opens mouth and talk, it is just like seeing gold falling off from his mouth. But, wait till you see daddy Lee..gosh!! all the diamond and platinum I tell you mannn! His dad has very very few words
Oh well, not too bad after all. At least me n mama Lee can do the talking all the time. :)

We are _ _ _ _ _ _ !!!

Aunty Verna drove all the way from Joondalup, attending her big boy’s big day.

Kian and his uni friends..

The funny site of the freshly ex-nerds.

They were in the same group in their final year, now they work together. Erm..which is a good thing for me. Kian only tell me what happen at work superficially, I dug most of the gossip from M*.

The victory.

After receiving that piece of paper that all the nerds have been wanting for.. (sadly, I am part of this common society)

With old friend..

The Graduation Ceremony food sucks. Thank Buddha, the memories were fantastic!

OK, I just can’t help but putting up photos with me and Kian. Note: I won’t show this type of photos until his parents say YES. Ahhh…so we are officially adult now eh! Woohoo~!

Ta dah!

Ta dah!!

Ta dah!!!

and TAAAAA DAHHHHHH!!!!!!

Congratulation Honey!!!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of you! You deserve it!!

“mwah*
p/s: Can I borrow your regalia for my graduation ceremony for next yr pls?
Hello! Hello! Hello! Two Thousand and Seven!!

Did you guys have a kickass count down moment? I read coupld of your blogs.. you guys seem to have soooo much fun!! Good on ya babe! I’m sorry haven’t got much time to leave a comment or individually email you all. My laptop still dies on me. I am waiting for the insurance company to give me some good news. Yeah, where I do my post then, you probably asking. I’m blogging from work[!], right infront the counter..
Don’t worry, I won’t kill anyone.
Some food pictures here…
Me, Kian, Rob and Jo headed down to Northbridge (China Town) for dinner. We wanted to have western food, but most of the places had been booked out since one month ago! Unbelieveable eh? See! We were so unprepared, and at the end of the day, we ate what we deserved–Chinese food. =.=”’
I wanted spring rolls. I think I eat like an ang-moh now. Most of the Chinese or Asian friends whom I know don’t fancy spring rolls..but apparently, I’m abit into it. Erm..I stay in aussie for abit too long. Nah! That’s just the side joke ok? I eat ALL the yummidelicious food.

Beef rendang. This is one of the house special. I think it is quite lame to tell you how good is the beef texture and all that…not that you were eating with me. Haha! I will bring you there when you come down to Perth, deal? AHHH!!! That’s betta!

Jo ordered another house special–Hokkien Tofu. One whole lot of tofu. This is not the typical Japanese tofu you see out there.. this is like a whole big lot. If I wasn’t eating with other animals people, I could probably finish this dish by myself! It is absolutely un-weightwatcher-ly tasty!

King Prawn stir fry with vege and cashe nuts. Should had ordered the prawn with shells. Bah! We are ladies.. peeling prawn shells allowing the source splashed everywhere?! Bah! The boyfriends should do the job, I reckon–IMHO. *wink*

Northbridge was really heated up. The music, the crouds, the people, the excitement….

I like the landmark where we waited for count down–just right next to the Brass Monkey Bar. It was awesome mann!

Erm.. you know what? The organiser of the even got everything sooo riight, but then, when come to the first moment of 2007, there wasn’t a COUNT DOWN! Not even 3,2,1 thingy!! Arrgh~! But then, some fire crackers were fired out into the sky.
I wish I wasn’t in Northbridge or in Perth for this event. Seriously. I want more fuuuunnn! Oh well, I can’t complain, can I? I still have Kian here, with me. I’m happy

(awww sweeeet)

And oh yeah… of course! My buddies…

Minus the aggresiveness, the fight, the violent, the rudeness, the uneasyness, the uncomfortabeness, the inpassion in Northbridge…
To sum up, I would say It was a good night out still with my good friends around.
Cheers!
Christmas, is a ‘family’ thing for me and Kian..and Verna. Aunty Verna was host family of Kian years ago. Thou Kian hasn’t been living with her for years, we still keep in touch.
Aunty Verna had lotsa ppl coming over this year…all family members and childhood friend from Kiwi. Yes..that’s like ~50 years ago[!]

The house has been decorated with lotsa lotsa Christamassy thingy…comparing to my house..duh! I only have 2 Christmas cards displayed on kitchen bench; and an additional card was still in the paper bag.

I must say, the food is superb yummie! See it for yourself!
Prawn cocktail and mango (side dip: thousand island)

Fresh garden salad

Fruit platter

My lunch. I know. What a conservative portion. And I think I’m getting gayier and gayier when come to the amount of food I consume.

Chocolate and some decos… no one actually eat them!

This is Aunty Verna…Kian’s host family. We still keep in touch with here every now and then. She is our guidance, mentor, motivator, and very best mate. She is also the one withness our relationship begun from the very first day.

Another family member–Wally. He is another V.I.P

Ca*…aunty verna’s childhood friend since ~50 years ago from Kiwi. She migrated to aus recently. Seeing old friends meeting up together after soooo many many years, I wonder if this will happen to me as well with my childhood friends? I only can remember few of them thou.

The in-laws and grandson, J*

The in-law side of family.. from our side of dinning table

At A* at the other side of table.

OK..more pictures of me and the others… I think I am damn-good skill at self-camwhoring since I started keeping the weblog.

Me and Kian.

Hey! I just realised we both in baby pink colour and Kian has a bit of green on his T-shirt..so does my hat!!! So ‘ngam’ one.

This is O*, he is ~5-6months old. I seriously …seriously, damn scared caring baby like this. Most of the adult wanted me to take a photo with O* Such a small creature…hell know I drop him on the floor… I’m and I will never be ready for little anti-christ like this. Eww! Please Buddha! I never ever thought lacting like Micheal Jackson….swinging his own baby at balcany! I swear even I think babies are small little fragile creatures..trust me! My heart and arms are way fragile than that!!

Some interesting picture to show u. This is me and J* back in 2004

And again…we remake the picture….

He is obviously growing bigger and bigger…time flies so fast since 2 years ago when I see him…
how cool is that?
Hello~ Hello~
Today is Winter Solstice for the Chinese. I’m glad I can remember
I missed out this special occasioan for the past (many many) years. This is so not cool for Chinese like me. ;(
Thanks go to Jessie and Olivia who remind me. Those ppl are more sensitive or be awared of traditional Chinese celebration. Me? I definitely know Chinese New Year because of ‘Ang Pow’ (Red Packets that comes with $$$), I would found out when is “Cheng Beng” after 1 week, I probably know when is MoonCake Festival.. But, most of the time, I eat the moon cake earlier, and I would totally forgotten when is the real day after. I am clearly a lousy Chinese when come to remembering these special occasions. I need a 2007 Chinese Calender!!
冬至 is the time when all the family members get together. Here, I don’t have any relatives, but I decided to call my close buddies Jo and Rob to come over my house at 11-ish (pm) to eat 湯圓 (Tangyuan). They are as close as my family in Perth.
I don’t know the traditional 湯圓, so I bought some from local oriental grocery store.
My grandma thought me long long long time ago..how the hell I supposed to remember lar? *lousy chinese me*

I’ve got some ginger as well. Wanted to buy pandan leaves..but couldn’t find some. Bah!

Boil some water, add ginger and sugar, followed by 湯圓.
Ta dah~!!!!

Red Bean Paste

Sesame Paste

HEAVENLY YUM~!!!
Wishing you all Happy Winter Solstice! and Enjoy your 湯圓 as much as I do~! Woohoo

My weekend was blooody awesome! It was absolutely kickarse man~!!!!
Here are some of my photos from Sunday itself.
My boss from my current work place organised a Christmas fuction at Mosman Park Bowling Center. It was a joined party of 3 business. Yep, most of the employees from 3 premises..So, you can imagine how many people they were. But then, when you keep scrolling down, you won’t see much their faces due to confidentiality.
p/s: why you wanna see other ppl face? See my face better lar.

I musta admit the B.E.S.T(est) thing about the Christmas function is the great company from my colleages and their partners. I gotta see thier crazier site off work. My colleages are a bunch of happy, civilised, funny human beings. Yeah, not all are being categorised as human because there are couple of them fall off to the caterogy of party animals. *wink*
OK lar! I self-include myself to the latter group. Can?
This is me and Kian. *sweet*

Dang! Dang! Dang!! Fashion of the day:
Baby-pink, Oakley and Cow-girl hat. *cough*. I look like my cooking teacher.

This is John the Crazy Pharmacist. Hi John!! Your crazy picture is in my weblog! Haha!

This is John the crazy pharmacust and Mrs. John the crazy pharmacist.
Very very lovely couple.

Oh yeah..ignore the hand which grabbing John’s bobbie. I have no idea where it comes from. =.=”’
Another B.E.S.T thing from the party is–FREE alcohol beverage from 11am till 4pm. Phew phew~! Getting drunk is very unlikely avoidable. ^.* Erm…Not so sure if it is a good thing or not, eh?
This is Rhee* (I don’t name name(s)) She is the gorgeous lady whom I work with every week. She is very very kind too because she helps me to do my some of the works at workplace, and I *heart* her alot! Heheheheh…

This is C*, another gorgeous babe from my work. She is very very very funny. If you think I am funny, wait till you talk to her..she is absolutely a cracker. Hey! Don’t you just realised most of the female from my workplace are gaaaawgeous~?

Ok, the main purpose of the day is drinking, bowling and socialising. And drinking.
Bowling..kinda suks. The bowling-balls hate me!!! They clearly don’t listen to me. They bowled themselves out of nowhere. wth? I was in team 7–Yeah babe~! James-Bond Team! Sadly, half of my team mates left me and Rhee*before the end of the game.
Ta dah!!! This is Amo*! (Told you! My colleages are gorgeous) She is the full-timer at my work. She is sooo funny and friendly.

So, this Mr.Whoever teach me how to bowl the ball. I was too tipsy to listen.
“you have to look at the ball, the small picture and big picture…” bla bla bla.
Whatever! Mr. Whoever. =) *all alcohol fault*

After partying like an animal, we headed off to Cottosloe Beach. My advise is, alcohol n wavey sea don’t mix. *puke*
This is the last picture I took. Oh well, I skip quite a bit of the fun parts and crazy bits…is not that you never had such a great time with your friends right? I am sure you know how I feel all this time, right?
Oh! Oh! If you haven’t , ok, gimme a call? I can do it again with you.

p/s:
I left my second job whom I took up just a few weeks ago. Nahbeh! So many politics, so many bitchings, so many double-standards around. Mahai! There are ~6 other fugly cheeena ah-lians who came from where I from, talking and back-stabbing in their (our) own languge all the time at aussie work place. KNN! M’sia damn boleh meng-sia-sui-kan!

The main reason I left because I got pay rise at my current work place *ahem* and I clearly not happy with that lame double-standards. I was very depressed every morning. Seriouly, no mood to eat, no mood to sleep, no mood to shit, no mood to swim and no mood for sex. How sad is that?
I want happy money, and I enjoy making happy money.Me 不要為錢受罪 (suffer from making money) Ok! You can bitch slap me now for still living in my comfort zone. (SLAP! Wake up Cynth!! The real world in out there!!!) But, hey! I am damn super duper HAPPY at my current work place leh! Why I can’t have the same fun at both work places? Plus, I don’t want to stuck in that sh*t hole, poping pills everyday! And follow a set of ‘new’ rules which set for ‘new employee’—no talking, no drinking, no this, no that…bla bla bla. Very lame. *yawn* Lesson learnt: when I become someone else boss or manager, I will treat ny staff members very nice, as usual.
We will go out have fun and get some drinks. As usual. And Pay rise, as usual, too.
I don’t mean to be sitting in that place and listen to their lame stories.
“HELLO!!!! I am gorgeous!!!! I want to be seen~!!!!!!!”
Yeah.. My final words for the loosers who incharge b4 I left.
Not-so-short-Talk: I nearly wanted to vomit blood for using Wordpress. I thought Blogspot hates me enough, hell know WP wants to kill me. Uploading pictures and posting over here is a bitch–shortening my life for 10 years.
I have so much to share for what’s happening over the weekend. I was (and always) inspired…at this moment, My inspiration had evaporated due to this Bitch.
Firstly, we have day-light saving. OK! I don’t want to get into that yet.. I tell you in my next post.
Back to the party, shall we?
It was organised by my neighbour. Like the topic sounds, it is all about neighbourhood. I was particularly looking forwad into the party, not because of the food, *ahem* it is all about the neighbour and the people whom I was going to met. I love to do local thing, and to met local people.

It is amazing to see my neighbours, all of them, who live in my street get out and do something together. There were some from across the park too. Seriously, I have been living in this street for couple of years, I only know 5 out of 9-10 houses. I wave at my neighbour every morning before I go out, and I wave at them again in the evening when I go home. It is a shame, I never talk to them. Hey! I smile thou! =)
I realised I haven’t got our own pictures. Erm..We both were too busy chatting with the neighbour. We tried our best to get to know them. Similiarly, my neighbour asked us many many questions too.

“Oh! If I have medical situation, I know at least there is a half-doctor living here”
“Can you help me to fill up my scripts for cheaper price?”
“So, are you going back home when you finish Uni?”
We were happily answer all the questions, obviously they aint so tricky.
If I don’t know how to answer, again, I SMILE.

We spoken to a couple of lovely Italian couple who make very very yummie Italian delicacies. I asked some tips from neighbour (2 doors away) how they grow their roses, I confirmed with my neighbour if he was the one drove the train in Araluen Park…..etc etc.

Oh yeah, we played with their kids too. Got my bather and jumped into the swimming pool. It was absolutely fantastic!

Honestly, I found the party was very interesting in some way. Having to be the youngest couple among the rest, making me feel like I am one of them–steady. (not old) I have so much to learn in my life. I appreciate this neighbourly feeling. It is priceless! So, love your neighbour like love your brotha and sista…because at the end of the day, your friends who live far away from you still incomparable to your close neighbour. For those Chinese liiterate, you know I mean, don’t you?
