Not.

I was trying to read through at least 300pages of AMH (Australian Medicine Handbook) everynight by Friday.
I still have APF (Australian Pharmacy Formulary) to go thru’ — as thick as grandma’s favourite poo paper brand, Kleenax.
Bugga.
AMH is hypnotic… very very sedating, indeed.
Too much ‘drugs’ , eh?
I like to believe markets are still the best source of fresh food and vege. Erm, maybe.
Kian suggested to me that we should go down to market to get some fresh grocery in Sunday arvo.
I thought, well.. It was a great idea as we haven’t been to any markets for a long time. Long time as in.. more than 1 year?

I was quite excited about the whole FRESH food. Turn out, I was abit disappointed.
The mandarins were rotten on the outside. The bananas were severely and badly oxydised. The lemons were overproced.
As I walking among the people, I was feeling rather nervous, and slightly breathless. p/s: I now remember market doesn’t sell fresh air, too.
I wasn’t worried people nicking my wallet, or hitting me from behind, or the vege stall employee giving me the evil-look for choosing my winter melon for long time….
All I care was, please you people! Do NOT step on my pretty shoes!! They are my favourite colours!!!
and Unagi Don night.
So, I’ve been coughing my lungs out. I can feel that I’m coming down with something. The cough is dry, and slight acidic. Erm, some sort of reflux, eh? Few doses of PPI are doing me good for now, but not my motivation.
A colleage from my workplace organised a fairwell dinner at one of restaurant close to one of my workplaces. I told her I wasn’t able to make it. The cough, cold, motivation blah blah blah. Meantime, Kian puts my name down to have fancy dinner at The Left Bank. I was first very excited. But I realised I don’t get excited enough to go. I rang him from work, while still coughing my lungs out… he was slightly disappointed but understood.

I came home. I was thinking of heating up my let over fried rice..probably boil some soup to go. And..and… and.. I had all things planned and organised. And all I wanted is a quite night. No mobile, no messages. No phone. No TV.
As soon as I walked into the house, the light was on. Erm.. what’s going on? I saw a pack of take-away on my desk.
I saw the Unagi Don. It was Kian who bought it from the local Japanese eating place. He drove all the way back for me, and before he went back up to Freo again.
I was washing my face with my tears. Oh! He is such a sweetheart!

I had one of those days — anti-socialism. All I wanted is no (extra) questions asked, no (extra) task *.* so I can have some room to cough my lungs out ![]()
Thank you very much.
yeah, I know.. one of those days.
I spotted this beautiful and perfect shape of rainbow on my way to work.
180 degree.
I asked Kian to drive as slowly as he could so I could capture everything with my camera.

Clearly, it didn’t happen. The rainbow seems to be sooo close to us. I therefore had to take 2 photos to make a perfect shot.

Life at the moment is abit like that — falling into 2 pieces (or more?).
I’m trying and hoping to put everything into ONE big piece. A beautiful and perfect one, too.
p/s: the moment we drove pass Canning Bridge, the rainbow gone. — how quick is that?
Eh, not really.
I’m just feeling a little bit too stressed at the mo. With all the portfolio fink, exam in 4 weeks time. *holy cow!* — I haven’t even done much about it.
Seriously, what I’ve been doing all these times? sigh

I’m trying to catch up as much as I can. Gosh, you know, even to get the motivation ups is just sooo difficult.
So, procrastination leads me (and tummy) to Kraft Crunchy Peanut Butter — The ultimate comfort food.
I have peanut butter on toast, biskies and celery. I try to convice myself celery is part of the healty food. So yeah, with the awesomeness from both hell and heaven, I won’t feel that bad to certain extend, right?
OK. I lie. I don’t dip celery in peanut butter.
I “dip” a metal spoon and scoop up the peanut butter… one spoonful, another spponful..and another one.
So insane, so wrong, yet so awesome!!!
p/s: what’s your favourite comfort food? Come on, tell me! I’m sure you got one too!
Hello! It has been awhile. My apology.
1. There was some problem with my IXUS (a birthday gift from Kian). It is now sitting in some repair center. Argh! Believe it or not? Kian had to send the camera back TWICE! bloody hell, damn you Canon.
2. Life is awesomely fantastic — as usual. There are bits and pieces to do everyday.
3. Work is great too, oh well. sometimes. I’m swapping role with my partner-in-crime (at work)
I’m currently doing very ‘technical’ fink. Loads to do, loads to learn. Nothing is more exciting than chasing outstanding deb(s) since 12 months ago! I feel like a deb-collector aka ‘tai ye long’ (cantonese) Ha!
3. I watched Sex and The City (movie) the other night with my girlfriends. I personally rekcon it was a great movie. I don’t fancy the part where Bradshow hits Big with her wedding flower in the middle of New York. That’s awkful! But I’m delighted by their friendship in the movie — the laughters, tears, eeeeek! All the happiness
4. We re-visited Karaoke singing session on Friday night. t was our second time at Utopia (Myree). I was totally shocked during my first visit. There were so many Asians and so many many Asian food (mostly cakes, dessert type). Holy macro! I kept telling my friend: I am sooo shocked! Culturally shocked by my own culture
Yeah, I thought only Northbridge Utopia has loads of Asian young punks. It turns out Myree is another small Northbridge too! How cool is that?
5. Confession: I haven’t done much cooking thesedays due to my busy schedule.
Kian cooks alot nowadays. And he does most of the dishes too. For pig sake, the water is so cold! My excuse for doing less dishes is my fingers gone numb after washing and I can’t write, I can’t flip the book blah blah blah. Fulla crap I am
6. I am still doing swimming at least twice a week. It is fantastically therapeutic!
7. I’m currently watching Hell’s Kitchen Season 4. I hope Petrozza wins, but he is so messy! If I were Ramsay, I would kick him out long time ago. I reckon Corey has better chance due to her bitchyness.
8. Oh! TOP GEAR!!! Series 11 ! I am so in loved! It started off with 5 super cars — Ashton Martin, Ferarri, Lambo, R5, Mclaren. And then the police cars challenge is hilarious! I thought James May was going to trim his hair for abit.. it is way too messy. (but i like… ) Hammond ate paper instead of cardboard this time. And Clarkson..oh, what can I say? I love that old man!!
9. So yeah. It is a brief update at the mo. I hope you all doing great! xoxo
My old friend Miza is back in Town last Friday due to work schedule. Hoooray!
I had a bad bad day at work on Friday and I am still trying to get over it. Anyhoo, nothing can stop me from seeing my friend, chilling out and relax.
*yeah, always think at the brightside*
It was Friday night. The City obviously was packed with people. Plus, with my very limited driving skill and luck, I wasn’t very positive that I would be able to get a parking lot in the City. So, I took Miza to (A)Lure at Burswood. The restaurant is called (A)Lure, funky huh? How you bloody pronounce this (A)Lure thing? a?A? or.. ??

We took some photos over the dinner.
Miza was modelling for abit when she was in KL. Naturally, she is very good at this ‘posing’ fink.
Me, on the other hand, thou I like my cameras and photos.. I still fink that I am a geek that can only stand or sit still, and smile to the lense. Pretty much like a ‘tourist’ or prisoner minus the sunshine smile.

The most ‘creative’ thing I can think off to make my photo interesting is.. wearing my scarf. Boring(!!)

The dinner was fabulous. The catch-up was good, as usual.
We thought we might be heading down to some local pub or so to grab a drink, turn out, we both cant be bothered. Miza invited me to go back to her place, so we can have a longer chat. Hehe…we girls can really talk, huh?

So yeah, I was talking about this cosmetic and make-up thing. Like, how ppl manage to do this colour, that colour. I get abit annoyed the fact that there was one time, my boss suggested to me that he can get the cosmetic artist to ‘do’ my face once a week. I was practically WT*. I wear sun cream before I go to work, does it count?

Miza decided to show me some simple tricks. There she went… she took all the bits and pieces she got with her… I nearly got blown away. I was ‘WOW’ here and there all the time. There were just so many things! Too overwhelming

She painted my left eye, and I did my right eye. Foundation. Eye brows. Lips. Hair. etc. etc.

TA DAH!!!! Did I just freak you out?
p/s: I freak myself out thou. Just a bit. Freaking unbelieveable. =.=”’
Yay! (But that was few days ago.)
Finally, I have a day off. A good 24-hours which doesn’t require me to do any specific tasks. The next day off will be in another 7 days time. I am wondering since when workaholic like me looking forward for A day off? erm..

Kian took me out for dim-sum lunch in Northbridge. G! The parking is terrible. The aint any spot at all at CPP. We ended up have to park our car at the roof top. fantastic or what?
It wasn’t very chilly in the arvo; plus the beautiful sunshine, I would say it was absolutely gorgeous.
Kian stopped the car on the way out, and he took some photos for us.

This is my favourite photo, actually. Because we both are smilling lah. I accidentally deleted the original one

Anyway, it is still a great time having Kian to keep me company at all the time.
It has been raining heavily over here. Oh! So beautiful! I am glad we have so much rain here, cos we really need it. And of course! My garden!! ![]()
Have a nice weekend. mwah!
Ops!
I don’t usually make a special entry in my blog to wish people Happy Birthday. See, I have many many people whom I know and I love. If I have to so, my blog would probably ends up like a ‘wish-u-happy-birthday’ blog throughout 364 days. One day for myself – obviously
But for Buddha, itu lain cerita. Cos at the end of the day, He is dead man satu, right?
Honestly, I didn’t event know it was Vesak Day until an old friend of mine told me. Yeah, an old friend whom I know ~15 years ago. I remember I used to tell him that I always wanted to be a pharmer, and he on the other hand, who pretty much into forest and wanted to study further Buddhism studies at that time.
Guess what? We haven’t been keeping in touch over these 10 years. Turn out, when we managed to speak to each other thesedays, he IS a Buddhist monk, residing in the ‘jungle’!! I am soon-to-be druggist. How cool is that? We both are very determined, aren’t we? We thought we were insane, dreaming over some destiny that probably unreachable. But, we are pretty much very very close to make our dream into a reality. Oh well, at least he is there already ![]()

Speaking of Buddhisy thing, I have these two cards that I have been keeping for awhile. 10 years, to be exact. I learn them every few days and remind myself don’t do/say/act the wrong fink. I believe in plenty of small simple things: a smile, a helping hand, a nice word, a greet, a nice thought …
So yeah, whenever some hardcore Buddhist friends of mine question me why I don’t go to the temple… at least I know I haven’t done any thing bad yet ;P

Another friend of mine, Zhen. whom I know since we were in primary school.
She sent me some book marks from Taiwan. Holy cow!!! I was absolutely thrilled! You know, I have soooo many books, and I can really use them! From my beloved AMH *insert sarcasm*, ALL the books from Jeremy Clarkson!! and more nerdy books.. awesome!

Me, Zhen, and Yong Jun Rev (the monk la) are all from quite a different background. Yet, we share so many similiarities. Erm, is that because we all are pisces??
Interesting,eh?
Anyhow, I better go now. I need to help Kian in the kitchen.
p/s: I did my first salsa dancing tonight. It was bloody brilliant!! I passed the beginner lesson, and got sent to next class! Woohoo! I reckson the instructor musta overlook my cleavage (deliberately??). It must be something to do with it *ahem*
It was sometimes ago, back in Chinese New Year in Feb. I went to he Fo Kuang Shan Buddhist Temple.
An elderly lady came up to me, and asked me if she can have one or two photos of the lion dance.

Of course! It wasn’t a hard job at all. Few minutues to choose a nice one. 5 minutes to print. 10 seconds to place the photos into an envolope. One second to stick my tongue out, wet the stamp and stick it on the envolope! Easy peasy!
Neh! The last bit is a joke. The stamp I’ve got here is self-stick type.

After sending the photos out, I couldn’t even remember much what’s going on. (Ya know, I constantly living in a busy routine) Erm, not until I received a card from this elderly lady.
It is very lovely of her. Thanks!
This card also reminds me that it is time to take a short break, a deep deep breath and do some cards (again) or even write some letters for my family and friends.
