I like to believe markets are still the best source of fresh food and vege. Erm, maybe.
Kian suggested to me that we should go down to market to get some fresh grocery in Sunday arvo.
I thought, well.. It was a great idea as we haven’t been to any markets for a long time. Long time as in.. more than 1 year?

I was quite excited about the whole FRESH food. Turn out, I was abit disappointed.
The mandarins were rotten on the outside. The bananas were severely and badly oxydised. The lemons were overproced.
As I walking among the people, I was feeling rather nervous, and slightly breathless. p/s: I now remember market doesn’t sell fresh air, too.
I wasn’t worried people nicking my wallet, or hitting me from behind, or the vege stall employee giving me the evil-look for choosing my winter melon for long time….
All I care was, please you people! Do NOT step on my pretty shoes!! They are my favourite colours!!!
and some misc WTF(s)”
Yep, now it makes the complete title (and perfect sense) of the day.
Strange things happen thesedays.
1. I pissed off a customer about 6 months ago. She worth ~10k to the business, I think. Obviously, it wasn’t impressive at all, especially for an intern like me who just started my placementship. I couldn’t care much (obviously) because she was such a high demanding beeyoch. Honestly. I think I can do better than that to gain more happy customers for the business. Throughout all these times, I still see her around, riding in her electronic scooter. But, she never came into our place. Not until 2 days ago, she came in in her scooter. WTF? This is crazy or what? And bloody hell, she even dared to ask for 20% discount. She acts exactly like her dog in her scooter.
2. Another WTF fink — I kena flashed big time 2 weeks ago at Ranford Rd, on my way home from work. I believe I will be receiving the fine soon because I say the big F word. Bad sign.
Kian wasn’t impressed at all. Trust me, I won’t get him to pay for my fines. I’m just annoyed at myself –WHY? Why on earth I put my foot down so hard at the first place? Right!! sigh. tah mah deh!

3. Lucky! — I was attending my tut at the Council. Toward the end session, my tutor told us she has a book to give away. I couldn’t care much because I know there is no way I would win anything. Never in my entire life, I Cynthia Foo win a fxxking thing. Never in my life, I Cynthia Foo buy a Lotto ticket. Because, I know these things just don’t happen to me. I hardly put my name in into any lucky draws even it was a free entry. Sad huh? I just don’t believe in gambling, and naturally, I don’t give a pig’s bum in any activities which involve luck.
My tutor wanted us to guess a number — from 1 to 100. She would give it to the intern who gives the best answer. My lucky numbers were 68. Deep down, I love 44. My initial answer would be 69, but I’m afraid some other interns get offended lar! Just few moment she announced the lucky one, I told the girl standing next to me: serisouly, I never win anything in my life, so I don’t expect this from her (the tutor). Turn out, my tutor pointed at me, the ‘winner’ is me.
WTF? Me? Holy cow! I just won an AUSDI?? WOW! serisouly, this is really w-t-f man! slap me! tell me, it is real!
Anyway, as you can see, I got my camera back!!!!! Yay! So happy!

Kian took some photo of me. Heehee, I’m abit camera-shy after all — haven’t been taking photos for awhile. Awhile..as in 1-2 weeks?

I couldn’t help but take plenty of photos!
Me and Kian went to City of Perth last Friday. The last time we went to City was about 5-6 months ago! We walked around the City. It was another typically chilly night in the West Coast. I love it when I was holding Kian’s hand all the time. I can never get enough cuddles from Kian. I hold his hand all the time, even when I go to bed.
I did a bit of research for dinner. My gf at work told me, there is this Korean Restaurant at Pier St does very good food. So, we decided to check it out.
The Korean waitress served us some little Korean cuisine. Holy Moly! They are so preeeeetttty!!!

And they are so cute!!!
I look at the dishes — oh my Buddha! I was totally amazed by those colours!

I didn’t wanna upload the macro-shot of the photos, but hey! I haven’t taking photos for awhile, allow me to shiok sama sendiri, can?

While we were enjoying the little Korean dishes..and over the spicy Kimchee, I overheard *ahem* some conversation from other table.
a bimbo said to an ang moh :”Malaysian girls are prettier…” I insisted she is refering to herself.
“Girls from XX country are not so pretty” Again, I insisted she refering someone else.
“Oh! u reckon?” the ang moh asked.
I nearly wanted to stand up and said to the bimbo who made such a senseless statement: are you mentally retard or what? there is no such thing like girls from here or there are prettier.
That brainless bimbotic opinion! Seriously embarassing the entire female population mannn!

Anyway, I get over it very quickly. Come on! Came and think of it, there are plenty of bimbos out there. Sometimes at the end of the day, I need those ppl to keep us entertained, right?
let’s move on to Korean pancake. It was bloody awesome!! It tasted fantastic with an awesome load of seafood and vege in it! It is a must-try dish at that restaurant!

Speaking of awesomeness, hey! You know what? You gotta watch Kung Fu Panda! It was so cute!!! and they heavily use the word ‘awesome’ in the movie! It was so awesome!!
The waitress continuously brought out the dishes. Again, I was very excited over the awesomeness. I started taking photos again. This time, she was kind enough to arrange those dishes nicely on the table.

Look at that! What a total awesomeness!

Kian ordered a BBQ squid dish. I swear I can eat 3 bowls of white rice alone with this dish itself. The squid is cooked in full Korean BBQ flavour in plenty of vegetable such as carrot, white raddish, onion, spring onion. And guess what? It is awesome!
I ordered a hot and spicy seafood dish. I thought I need something really hot and spicy to clear my staffy nose.
Speaking of seafood, most of the restaurants out there replace their seafood ingredients with fake crap sticks, fish balls and all the non-sense fake meat.

But this one, I swear to Buddha, I didn’t have any fake shheeat in it! They are all real seafood!
Look at this! Half of the crab! some prawns, mussels, and fish pieces!

It was so so so awesome!!
I can’t believe is July now. WOW! Seriously, time does fly so quickly, eh?
June was a hectic month for me. There were so many trainings and meetings. I even did my Senior First Aid course last week. It was hillarious! At the end of the course, the instructor said I failed the course. I was totally stunned! Me? Failed? I knew I did some mistakes.. but no way I was making more than 10! Of course, I was totally fooled! I passed — 39/40. ![]()
What a geek I am.
I hope July will be a better month. I have less training nights. I’m stopping salsa at the mo. I’m trying to focus more on my studies. I need to complete another half of my portfolio by the end of this month. Eeeeep! I’m not hoping to loose weight during Winter. But oh please! Please don’t put on weight! I’ve been eating like a pig, for heaven’ sake!
One more resolution for July: I will definitely drive abit slower.
xoxo
You know how I used to (and I still am) taking photos everyday. I used to capture almost everything I eat.
I went to a local restaurant at the Cott the other day, the portion served was sooo small, yet so cute. I couldn’t help but take a few more photos so I can keep looking at the food photo to fill me up (even more).
Oh! That was so nice.

Sometimes the food photo might look nice. Fact, the taste isn’t that nice after all. Gentle light and macro mode do the trick most of the time.

I like the little saucer served up in Chinese restaurant. Thou me and Kian hardly use them at all.
See, I am not a big fan of chilli. But, I still reckon the colours of the chilli are very nice.

Things have changed a little eversince we do more cooking at home nowadays. I don’t get to bring my camera to take those nice photos in the restaurants.
I can’t possibly take nice photos from my lunch box either. I microwave my lunch for 2 min, once I lift up the lid, the steam escapes. I am always hungry for lunch before I manage or able to take a nice photo of my lunch.
But, one thing has never changed: I still bring my camera with me almost everyday

So. No nice photos from my lunches. But, I still have some nice photos from.. from.. elsewhere.
I see people coming in everyday with all sort of request. Very often, they present with some skin problem, without any hesitation, they lift up their clothes, and show it to me.
And most of the time, I have no idea how to react appropriately, so I say: OH! That’s very er..er….nice.
Full stop.

Due to my portfolio requirement, I need to take some photos to show the Council people that I have had actually seen such things. Oh well, not quite really a requirement. I just like taking photos after all. I admit.

So, yeah. No photos of food/flower/myself. I’m still very happy to satisfy my ‘photography craving’ by taking thse ‘nice’ photos. Wonder why? Am I lost my sense of photography or what?

Or it is just because the workaholic fink in me???

I was told this toe is infected by fungal. I couldn’t help but requested a photo.
She removed her shoe. I saw the badly infected toe. The smell of the feet shoooo-ed me 3 miles away.
Holy cow! That IS so ‘nice’!!!
Hello and Welcome! (in Jeremy Clarkson’s stylo J )
I joined my uni mates to our graduation river cruise on Friday. I took some photos from the boat while it cruised away from the Jetty. Here are some photos of Perth, and I hope you love it.

p/s: I hope this doesn’t sound so gay – the more I look into these photos, I realise the more I am actually in love with Perth. *blardy hell* Or.. it is just the photo? I don’t know.

effortlessly.

Sun Princess at Freo Harbour.

Totally in love with the mixture of colours.

Erm,I strongly disagree taking photos with camera flash on all the time. It spoils the quality. But, it was so dark in the boat, I seriously couldn’t do much.

One more thing, I expected more ‘human’ pictures that night’s action. Thanks go to my smart-arse, I accidentally set my camera to highest ISO ever, and most of the photos taken absorbed the ‘noise’ from the surrounding. Great!

Ok. Bad quality photos aside.
It was an awesome night. It wasn’t too heavy (ie, too much alcohol) or too light (ie, insufficient alcohol). What I actually have in mind all the time is: moi is heading down South for holiday!! Woohoo! Be right back in few days time.
You folks enjoy your week ahead!
I promise more photos and juicy juicy details before 31st December 2007. Cheers!!
I is Baby Foo, obviously.
I managed to find quite a few numbers of my childhood photos in my old album back home. Those photos are reproduced using Canon S3, the quality aint that good. Some are OK, some are not. If I have scanner when I was back in Bagan Serai, I swear I will have at least hundreds of photos of me!
So, this is me.

I have heaps of photo of me and mum. Mum loves photo (and sweet memories) !! She took heaps of photos of us! I believe I inherit this particular DNA code from her. Erm, If I have a chance, I will scan our WHOLE family album.

With mum again. Mum doesn’t seem to change much since many years ago except she no longer wear this humungous glasses

I can’t believe the baby is ME! Do I? Did I? Grow up sooooo much?
With grandpa.
I was the first and the only daughter of my parents, and grandchild of both maternal and paternal grandparents. Naturally, I kena (was) spoilt like no-body-business. I am lucky enough that my family members are not those ol’ days typical traditional Asians who favor male more than female. Lagi!! I kena spoilt BIG TIME lah!!
So, you can tell why I am so spoilt and ‘manja’.
With my late grandpa — he was one of my role models in my family. He taught me lotsa things when I was young. Not those ABC, 123 thing. It was all about the grown-up fink–social, politic etc. He told me it was going to be useful in my future. Sadly, I only realised their usefulness these years.

Told you! I was spoilt big time! My family members had my 1st birthday party for me. Alas! These adults ah! Enjoying themselves only lah!
Can you spot a young dude wearing a white shirt, standing behind mum? it is my dad!!! He was and he is still a handsome man!

My childhood friends –Xing Jun, Siew Hwa, Ting Ting. Xing Jun supervised me in debate competition when I was in high school. She is very inspiring. Siew Hwa, nickname Ah Gal whom I spent PLENTY of my childhood time with her. She was our baby sitter’s relative, we used to love together too!

My aunty who is now mother of two little cute boys. Remember Kit Chai and Zi Tao?

I was a tom-boy head when I was young. And I am still one.

I love this little elephant top! So much of a ’character’

My uncle (mum’s youngest brother). He is a smart-ass and very brainy too.

With my aunty (mum’s sister). We were (and are) very close. When I was young, she treated me like a baby, a young lady who knew nothing. But now hey! All my aunties (include dad’s sister) are my GIRLFRIENDS! We talk about everything!

I can’t believe I ‘did’ this!! Lift the skirt half way and pose for the camera. So gurly!

At Taiping Lake.

With my brother in Teluk Intan (Anson) where my late grandma’s hometown was.

most of my dad’s sibling were in Teluk Intan when I was young. I didn’t get to see them so often. But I am glad we all are closely bonded nowadays.
Beside my family members in Bagan Serai, I will make effort to contact my uncles, aunties and grandaunty all over Penang, KL and The States. *Family is very very important to me.*

Grooooowing up.

in four years time… me a little gal.

And I guess this is when I was 5,6?

the growing-up process is so unreal, me think.
:)
I have selected more photos from Eskimo Joe Concert. They are all about Kav, who is the vocal/bass of the band. I’m not bias
I think they all are fab! It just happend to be the vocal standing in the middle of the stage..and light, the focus…all go to him, naturally.
I must emphasize again and again..the concert was fantastic.[!!!] I still keep the adrenaline with me. Man! They rock!! I’m sorry the video clips didn’t turn out very well; for those who want to briefly listen to their songs, go to their website at http://eskimojoe.net/ Down all the way on the left, click the ‘PLAY’ button, and you shall enjoy

I’ve got five photos here. All with different color (light) background, 3 different guitars, 5 different facial expressions which being captured well, I think. And yeah, 5 songs being played…obviously. AND! AND! AND!! ALL from one humble Canon A80, my old camera.

Soooooo, tell me! You like these photopgraphys of mine(./?/!!!) :)
Part One of Eskimo Joe Concert: click here, babe.
“Black fingernails, red wine
I wanna make you, all mine
A lot of people, underground
You wanna get there
You gotta go straight down“ Oh O! straight down! Oh O!
Kian and I went to Eskimo Joe concert on Thursday night. It was our 6yr (+2months) anni
I bought the tickets looooong time ago. It was a bit stressful few days before the concert because results were about to be released thesedays. John the crazy druggist said: hey! you will either be celebrating or you will be drinking your depression all the way down to your bowel (or something like that). =.=||| Thank Buddha! It wasn’t the later reason. Much to my relief, Malibu and pineapple juice, Jaiger Bomb..and even beer were all tasted sweeter than usual. *smile*

The concert started with couple of songs…not by Eskimo Joe thou. It was abit slow. But it was OK. You just knew the concert will get better and better. We aint paying fifity bucks each for nothing

Little Birdy was there too!! Holy Moly! Her performance was awesome mann!! It was really kick-ass! I took quite a few numbers of photo..this is my favourite one.
p/s: I took heaps of photos from that night. I know some of you probably have no idea who they are, but that’s OK. At least, I still have heaps of photos for YOU!!! *yep! that’s just so cynthia*

Few photos of the guitarist from Eskimo Joe. He is awesome man. He plays so so so well, but I won’t hump him :P

Few things happend during the concert. I meet a gal, she seem very nice. She lost her friend somewhere, so I ended up together…chatting (screaming) over the loud music, dancing, and giggling. She also gave ‘evil look’ to other gals (bitches are more likely to describe these type of ppl) who wanna take over my ‘feng shui’ spot.

During the break, there was this guy trying to chat up wth me. ’Hello..[smile like a d*ckhead] do you know that you can’t take photos in the concert?’ Me: JOKING??? I acted I am not interested in the conversation. He kept trying to chat up with me. I was acting cool
Turn out, he took his camera out from his pocket and non-stop taking photos!!!
See!!! What a cheap pick-up line! I am so used to it, ok?
These ppl clearly didn’t notice my Kian was standing with me allllllll night long, didnt they? pffft

Another nice photo *ahem*

And here you go!!!! KAV!!!!!!!!! The vocal/bass! He is so damn good! This Fremantle boy is hell awesome and fantastic!

From Sarah… This is Pressure…and my favorite Black Fingernails Red Wine!!!!

I screamed my lung out…I danced like nobody business..I was completely in my/their world.
It was complete relief from those stress and anxiety attacks from the past few days; and it was complete enjoyable moment.

The atmosphere was so ‘YEAH’.
I nearly cried for hell know what reasons. I was glad ‘it’ was over..I was excited the party was just getting started.. and the songs, music were getting hotter and hotter!!!
p/s: I did took 2 small video clips: Sarah and Black Fingernails Red Wine.
Enjoy and have a nice weekend! *mwah*
xoxox
Kian took a photo of me…looking rather miserable. I don’t know how he does that black, white and pink thing with my camera. Hey! No photoshop eh
How cool is that?

I had another haircut last Friday. This is as short as it is. I hope this will be the last trip to get rid all the dried and severely damaged hair. And… I am ready for long hair. I don’t mind short hair, really. It is so easy to manage. They dry up verrrry quickly. Not much combing required. Er..not really. I didn’t comb much when I had long hair anyway.
But yeah, long hair is much needed on Winter!! My head is freezing cold!! Gosh!!
Good thing is… I already have ALL my scarfs lined up, and I am ready to wrap myself up for the cold weather~!! Woohoo!
Ta Dah~! Finally I’ve got some photos of myself on scooter up.

Why white lab coat? Oh! Just a random thing. Actually.

I went to uni in the arvo… doing academic work thingy with First Year students. I mean.. supervising the little juniors in pharm practice lab. Yeah..how cool eh? Me constantly giving them the evil look… ekeke.

I headed out around 2pm..it was warm. Hence, I couldn’t be bothered wearing extra jacket. Hell yea..when I finished working by 4pm or so.. the temperature droped quite a fair bit.

Er… might as well eh? Just wear the labcoat…and ride home.
Uni is less than 3 min away from my house anyway.
So…if you see a white coat lady, riding from Kent St to Waterford Avenue this arvo.. That weirdo? That’s me!

I feel extremely *ahem* the superior when I ride on my scooter… is like so many people sorta pay attention to me for few seconds. Damn..so cute meh? Don’t always look at me like this can? I damn shy one. Hehe

Red helmet comes in size L. Yes, I have a bloody big head. I told the shop guy I need ‘L’ size helmet..he thought I was kidding. I told him, hey! I have big head ‘cos I am smart I have alot of sh*t in my brain, can?

So, tell me. You like my scooter?

I know… I make my scooter look cuter~! Hahah
