So broke… I left zero dollar in my saving at this moment. SIGH! Not even a penny. I have to steal my bf’s money for another before I get my pay.
So broke…yet so HAPPY!! I had an awesome Sunday day/night out with my kiddo friends…it was soooo cute!
Life is a b*tch… just when you happily spend all your favorite moment with people you love…and you realise you don’t have much left in your pocket..this is when the pain kicks in!! b*tch!
We watched Spidey already. It is OK, not even fabulous or anything. My mind was keep on thinking about Pirate of Caribbean. Johnny Depp and Orldando Bloom..yummie! If you get to choose a lover,a bf, or maybe a s*xmate, *ahem* who will you choose? The bad boy or the goddie one? And yes!! The Obourne Ultimatum!! Matt Damon!! Nice~!
We all…as in Me, Kian, Alicia, Ryan and Robin headed down to China Town for supper. Pretty sure the restaurant is called Uncle Billy
I wasn’t into taking food photos mood..since Robin was doing it, might as well eh?

It is not easy to keep up with the kiddos. Seriously. I feel like lacking some sort of adrenaline.
I meet Alicia years ago..and she was very very tiny back then. After few years..holy moly!! She is a half-grown adult! She is (nearly) taller than me! Everything seem to be soooo different. Man! She is not longer a kid, she is an adult! Just like a girlfriend.

Ryan was the same…he was in high school last year, and now he is in uni. Time flies…
I meet up with Ryan in uni last week, I realised those female friends whom he calls out loud are either cute or hot…in all sort of colors and size: blonde, brunnet, A, B, cups etc etc.
So, I insist Ryan will call my name out loud next time when he sees me from far, too
Bloody hell…kids nowadays ah!! =)

Both brother and sister (Ryan and Alicia) are super peppy. They asked ALOT of questions. They running here and there. It is not easy to cope with them. They think like an adult
This is Robin who joined us too. I told him I was bringing two kiddy friends… I didn’t think he know how I define ‘kiddy’

Ryan and Alicia asked me ALOT of questions. They asked me and Kian, when we are getting married? Where I am working? Where is Bicton? What? Who? When? How? bla bla bla. I swear to Buddha, it IS not easy to answer everything. When one question is answered, more explanations are needed most of the time. And it is so cute!
But one thing! One thing! Ryan asked me: Hey! is “cynthiafoo.com” really exist? or you just leave it in MSN for fun???

RRRRRRRRRRyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!! *scream my lungs out!!!*
WHAT???????? You asking me silly question or what? cynthiafoo dot com of course exit larrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!
Me starting giving this kiddo a lecture…wah lau! so…ppl think eh, simply simply use your name and add a ‘dot com’ at the back is cool. =.=|||

I needed a cold drink to chill myself over the question. Haha! Just a joke. I decided to go down to Utopia for bubble tea as I haven’t been doing things with Alicia and Ryan. But in the same times, I tried to make sure they reached home before Xpm..or before their parents call

Alicia is a gorgeous gal with beautiful heart.

It was a fun night out… and in few weeks time, hopefully we will meet up for another movie session…and droooool all over Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom. Hehehe

Last photo taken my Robin
How’s your weekend by the way? I have more things coming up this week…I just can’t wait!! Woohoo!! Blackfinger nails, Red wine…I wanna make it! ALL mine!!!
“HO HO HO!! Merry Christmas!!” Nah! That’s dumb.
I am overly sexited ‘cos I am having holiday!! Woohoo! That’s like ~14 day!! TWO bloody weeks!! Hang on a sec, minus few days from working extra shifts, meeting with work-related people, paying bills at whetever department (yeah, no onine payment)…I probably left 10 days for holiday.
I was excited, but now now anymore. I am over it. Honestly.

I am given holiday, and for one moment I have no idea what to do in my life. I lost my directions when I am not working, studying. I feel so miserable when there is a moment I have to take a quick break from my busy lifestyle. How strange is that? Tell me, does this happend to you before? Are you a workaholic???? AM I?? *scratch head*
I have so much to do…but I don’t know where to begin. *tears* There are only 3 and a half things in my life at this moment: work, uni, home(include boyfriend). and friends. Hopefully.
I rather go back to work. Wake up early in the morning, ride in my scooter, work…work…work.

There is one moment, I actually feel SHY when I talk to new friends. For all the sudden, I don’t know how to say Hello, Sorry, Thank You and Excuse Me. I lost my mind. Hey! I am not usually like this. My parents definitely won’t let me out without my polite social manners.
Oh! I don’t mean I am shy with these ppl in the photos…they are my mates from my class.

But yeah, it is my holiday. I need to do SOMETHING. Something to keep me busy.
I should do something to indulge myself, right? Such as…housework!!! Yes! :) I want to re-organise my pantry, I want to prune my roses so they all are ready for Winter. Yeah, I wanna update my blog more often too! *fingers crossed*
Hey..I can’t really seperate myself from busy lifestyle, can I? But I am happy and feeling contented thou. Do you usually feel the same way as well? Or it is just me? Tell me I am normal.

Anyhoo…those photos were taken months ago. I was chillaxing with my friends from my School. I had great time..too much to drink, and I didn’t even know how I got home that night. Nah! That’s just a joke. I am usually very seinsible. *ahem*

Headed off to Utopia, Northbridge on Saturday night. I haven’t been going out at night for awhile, I guess. All these times, I have no idea what I am busy for. Book? Work? Eat? Sleep? Sh*t? Anyway, no matter how busy I am, one thing for sure, I love to catch up with some friends that I haven’t seen awhile.
By the way, it is not a Perth blogger meet or whatsoever. It just happend that these people keep a blog
This is Nadia the makcik. Oh yeah, before I go any further. This is my latest hair cut. Had it done 2 weeks ago. Seriously, my hair grow so bloody the fast. It was wayyyyy shorter 2 weeks ago, and all the sudden, they GROW!!

It was all good. Everyone talks to everyone. They moved their arses around, and talked to other people. Very socialising. It could be a catch-up, and yet it could be a meeting-new-friend session for others.

Whereas for me and Kian.. it is a good thing too! You can’t expect two of us, living in our own little world all the time, right? We need to get out from the house, get some fresh air…

It is good to see thing has not been changed. The ‘thing’ I am refering to.. the lovey dovey side of everyone larrr!

Bubble tea is awesome mann. As usual.

8 people where there… turn out, 3 people brought their camera. I am not one of them. =) All these photos were taken by Robin.
Like I said.. I just wanna chillax (chill out + relax), I don’t want to be bothered with batteries, memory card etc etc. It was Saturday night. For Buddha sake, I just had my exam the day before, and I had to work during the day on Sat-day. I just can’t be stuffed. *slack arse me* Anyway, I knew someone will bring tag their camera along. Hehehe.. I just know.

Marcus . Without his emo glass.

Rodney– some random pedestrian. You better believe it, I call this dude for few times, and he always say ‘boh eng’ (busy), and when he calls me, it happens to me my turn ‘boh eng’.. and after almost 6 months..we finally meet up. Nahbeh!!! Perth is very the small only leh!!! =.=”’

By the way, before I finished off, short hair is not that suitable to me. I knew, and I know that! I had no choice ok? *sob* The hairdresser back home kinda screwed things up while he got my hair done. Well, whatever done is done. I reckon I need a change once in awhile. p/s: my cuteness remains the same *ahem* I don’t mind, really. My hair is growing anyway. On earth…people only realise my hair is shorter, but they don’t realise my *ahem* have shrinked abit too!! Thank God for that! Hehe.. I lost 2 kilos recently…I need to buy a pair of good push-up bras or silicon pads. Er..something to support ‘them’.

Anyway … It was all good. It IS all good.
Have a nice week ahead. Me heading back to my work. It dues in 11 hours. I shall stop entertaining myself.
Ciao~!
Claudine is one of my childhood friends. I would say she is the oldest friend (and partner-in-crime) I have eva. I know her before I attended kindergarden. See! That’s how old our friendship is.
We went to the kindy together, primary school and junior high. We used to hang out very very very often when we were young. Our houses just few doors away from each other. That made everything easier-lepak, supper, holiday, school trip, girl guide, camping etc etc.
This is one of the photos we’ve taken. Not quite sure how young we were at that time.

The one on the left is Claudine, and the one on the right is me, obviously.

Oh! This is one of the birthday cards Claudine gave me. I can’t remember how many cards she gave me. She probably just gave me ONE birthday card in my life. Haha! *joking*
This card makes it very special because it was the year when Claudine left Bagan Serai for Ipoh, and it was the first time in my life ( at that time) celebrating my birthday without her. She likes singing ‘Happy Birthday’ in her own version:
“Happy Birthday to you, you were born in the zoo, with the monkeys and donkeys, and the elephants like you!!! “

Of course, I always steal her version of ’Happy Birthday’ and sing it to other people. And every time I use it, it reminds me of her. How cute?

2007. We caught up again when I was home during CNY holiday. I haven’t seen her in the past few years simply because I am here, she is there. Erm anyhow..22-years of friendship. And it is still counting.
Anyway, today is Claudine’s birthday. I just wanna wish her all the best in everything, everything. As usual.
Happy Birthday, mate!! (in aussie accent)
Icey Ice is a new place in town. I dated two men with me on quite Saturday evening. Kian is one of them, obviously. And the other fella is Robin

I have rather busy life at the moment. Lotsa lotsa things to handle–working, working, reading, studying, keeping up with new stuffs, writting, writting, thinking, thinking; I wish there are two Cynthias at one time, so all the works can be done. Oh well, to some extend, the copy version of Cynthia can stay at home, doing ALL the housework and cooking. The real Cynthia can do all the thinking bits–what’s the best for heart failure, what’s the new treatment, how to react like a ‘cold-hearted’ b*tch when someone come and tell me: my doctor just told me I have only X months left.
Life. oh LIFE.
Is like.. I am sitting in front of a funeral house….and let born, old, sick happen before my eyes. I am kinda experience what Siddharta’ve been thru 2 milleniums ago, but I don’t think I can go even any further.. not even Nirvana.
*deep breath* stop crying *deep breath* It meant to be a happy post, remember?

Anyhow, I was there for the food, so the UV light..just a side joke. *wink*
Meet up with Robin. We talked about everything. Holy Cow!! He is soooo girlfriend!! You know, girlfriend..like your girlfriends who tell you everything. Yeah. He is one of them!

Except … not much of my gf camwhore like him thou

Nowadays..everyone see me eh? The first reaction was like: HEEEEY!! You got a hair cut. Oh well, I did, few weeks ago. And this is not what really how it looks like now..’cause I had another hair cut again four days ago. Rightio! It is way shorter.

my hair length is shorter than this larrr.
Today is Friday.. I mean to be happy. But I have so much in my brain now.. one of them is, I am trying to be happier.
Gosh. I am trying to remember 99 people who smile to me in this afternoon..but why on earth, I can’t stop thinking of ONE lady who told me she just had an miscarriage few minutes ago??
We did the usual thing on Good Friday (public holiday)–barbie at Synergy Parkland in Kings Park. (previously known as Western Power Parkland)

It was a fine day. Fine (good) Friday. The trees were all beautiful..with lovely sunshine.

Everything seem to be the same – people, food, atmosphere, easter chocolate eggs. Oh well, not exactly the same. It is kinda the same-That’s what I mean. Robert is not here this year, it’s like we missing out something. But one thing that will remain the same forever ever is Jesus sacrified Himself on the cross.

*take a deep breath* I am not Christian, but for a person who did for humanity, I personally think it is such a ‘WHOOAHHH’ thing.*respect* I always adore and admire people who do the right thing, these people have such a spirit and energy. For new millenium like this, no chance people could do the same thing to save the world. But I reckon, say the right thing, do the right work, all these tiny small things, even a smile!! They are all ‘WHOOOAHH’ things to me.

Me and Jo.

What a beautiful day. and taking a day off on Friday…ahh! That’s even betta!

Me looking all bored waiting for the food–beef, lamb, king prawn, scallop, giant squid, sausages, mushroom. Man! We ate alot

And I looked all happy again after the yummidelicious food ..and chocolate eggs! Yay! (from Jo)

Good Friday is public holiday in WA. It is a religious event, but when it become a public holiday, meaning it is celebrated by everyone–yellow, brown, black or white (chocolate, I mean)!!
No work, no school, no uni.

Those chocolate chicks were given by Fion to Jo, me and Kian; I picked the sunshine yellow one because it is the cutest among em’ all. [Just like me.] Erm, not that I fancy white chocolate the best. But.. yeah!

*ahem*

Yeah! I prefer dark chocolate still, I must say.

Anyhoo..wish you all have a nice and safe Easter.
Much love, Cynthia xoxo

Hello everybody, please meet my old junior high folks from Sekolah Menengah Alang Iskandar [SMAI] (Alang Iskandar High School) !
In case you wonder, why there aren’t much students in my own race? There were several old friends who can’t make it due to family reason–having baby, spending their CNY with in-laws far away from home. Classic caese when you come to this age? hehehe
But yeah, we did have very small Chinese population in my junior high. Don’t believe it? See the next photo.

Ta dah!!
If my memory serve me right, we had approximately 15 Chinese students in a year, that’s why we always struggle to organise an after-class Mandarin lesson. The headmistress back then refused to organise a class for us provided there were 15 students.
Anyway..do you manage to spot me in this old photo? So many things had been changed since I left my junior high..but one thing for sure, my cute-ness never changed. *ahem* This IS what I’ve been told by my old friends said.
I don’t simply simply make up the fact one, you see. *wink*

Tze Choong is my brother table tennis friend too. He plays very very well, I remember he represent our state..not just school, our state! He went elsewhere for table tennis competition. How cool!
He met Jacky Cheung and some other super stars in S’pore, he took photo with them, and display them in the house. You know what, I am soooo going to print this photo out, and he is soooo going to display this photo next to other super star!!!

This is Wei Wei. We both were very competitive back then. His name always come after mine in the top student list.
Haha! Not that I am saying I was good academically, he is just being kind to me. He knew I am such a perfectionist that I want to be the first and the Number-1 student in my class– Number 1-shortest, Number-1 loudest, Number-1 talkactive, etc etc. *sigh! I wish I can stop talking sometimes.*

Pei See was another gal in my class, sitting behind me. She studied all the time, and she stressed me out so much. Peer pressure is good, I tell you. I probably wouldn’t make it to these Number-1(s) without her.

Pei Pei is teaching in a primary school now. She is a school teacher, ie. Hey!!! I have a school teacher friend!!! How cool is that? *p/s: my godmother is my primary school teacher*
I always think teaching is a very very respectful job. I will never see myself standing infront a group of students and educate them properly. I am quite short tempered. I am afraid I would stretch few mucles of my arm and bitch slap the students.
But hey! I did do teaching for awhile in Buddhist Sunday School thou. But again, I didn’t slap anyone there ‘cos they were all good students. And they were nice to me, too. And I think because I am a nice person. *cough*

Sook Lai. OH! She is very very independent. She is managing a company, and her organisational skill is so damn good. At my age, sometime I wonder how she get to learn so much, do so much….don’t these people need to sleep?

This leng chai Boon *whatever* …damn! Boon Wui and Boon Quan are twin. They look so alike that I never get to know who is who after 10 days. Great! Shame on me! I shall run and hide.

This dude..Zhen Hua. Ah! I always feel very very pleased ’cos he is not much taller than me. :P

My old friend Ying Yuen insist me will act cute like her when I take photo. =.=”’ Aunty! I am cute already larrr. Mind you, maybe I should do that sometimes.. Ying Yuen has a daughter in Year 1, and she is still looking hot and sexy all the time. What a hot mum in town, I call her.

Ah! Is like a big family gathering again…after years and years… ..

So..my old friends…see you all after sometimes!!!
Welcome to Nasi Kandar Naseer Fairos, Bagan Serai!!

It is the ONLY (I think) mamak which run 24/7. Non stop.

I went back to my OWN hometown…acting like a BIG TIME tourist! Not much people from my hometown know who I am anymore..They just think I am a visitor from else where. How sad? But not till I mention my dad’s name or Eng Hock Tong, people would like : AHHH!!! I know your father!! So, you are his daughter who live in Australia!! WAH!!” =.=”’ So Bagan Serai, I tell you.
Anyway, I was lucky enough revisiting mamak with Jimmy korkor (brother). Jimmy is their regular customer, and they all treat him very very nice. I am lucky enough too, managed to take some photos without any interferences.

The food was absolutely yummie. Oh well, what can I say? it IS Bagan Serai food! You must be good to stay in the business; I haven’t seen anyone selling not-so-yummie food can survive in my hometown. Seriously. I think this is one of the reasons I have fussy taste buds.

AH!! Favorite food!!! SEE-HUM!!! (Malaysian clams). Apparently not much people will appreciate see-hum due to high risk of Hep A, Hep B; for me, I just don’t care (!!!) I’ve got myself vaccinated before my holiday because I was so god-damn going to eat em’!

This is Jimmy korkor. He is my old old old friend. He is father of two cute little daughters. How cool is that?

There are few things that you cannot miss out in mamak: teh-tarik (milk tea) and roti canai!!!! I love watching the cook making roti canai.
I stick my head out, open my eyes widely, mouth half opened with 101% fasination. Erm..I am such a tourist of Bagan Serai. OK! I admit it!

The Roti Tisu was kindly delivered by Mr. Waiter. He wanted me to take a photo for him, so he can send a copy for his family oversea. I shall get them printed out, and send back to Jimmy korkor. I reckon his family will miss him alot.

I told him he looks very scary without a smile..he would scare his son off when he send his photos home. He burst out his laughters straight away.
I love seeing people smile…I don’t like people taking things tooooooo serisouly. :) *depend what we talking here*

Ta dah~!! This is a super slim and tall roti tisu…but after eating this, plus curry, roti sardin, roti telur bawang (egg and onion) etc etc..gosh! I need to burn my fat seriously. Now, talking about diet eh, this is the thing I need to take it serisouly!

Me and Jimmy korkor.
I don’t know when it will be the next time for me stepping back to this mamak store, having a nice cup of cuppa, middle of night; but I know it was one of the greatest moment from home.
p/s:Thanks Jimmy for the whole supper, I told you I CAN eat alot ! HA!
Metting with bloggers is like…..meeting with strangers, don’t you think so? *sticking tongue out*
Hello strangers~!!!!
1.)
Ta dah~!!!!! This is Wuching everybody; Wuching, this is everybody.

Let me flash back my own memory lane when I was in Melbourne. I told him I would be in town, so we were going to meet up.
In fact, we meet up one day ealier due to my stupidity toward techonolgy. I shamelessly called Wuching to help me to burn a copy of CD of the photos in Cogress.
Yeah, he IS the only person whom I know who can fix up things like this.

I am so lucky, he is so ’suay’ (unlucky).

Wuching and Teresa took me to market, dim sum, and I even shamelessly self-invited to their family event. Haha! Simple as that, he told me his uncle was going to cook some Foo Chow noodle. :P My mood simply followed where the good food are available.
Hey man! The meet was great! Wuching may appear like those ‘old’ high school teacher..but he is hell funny.
If you and Teresa happen come down to Perth, be my guest! You guys are always welcomed!

2.)
This happend in KL. I gave Uncle Rojak (from Malaysia) a call.

I was running a bit late because I was doing some shopping in KLCC. Oh well, I am not really into shoes as much as he thinks I am. I am not a very fashionable type of person. I am neither into manicure, pedicure, colouring my hair. I am not into funky clothes.
But one thing for sure… I am very into MONEY!!! Hahha. That’s just a serious joke.
I meet up with other bloggers beside Rojak. I meet some other bloggers as well such as 9393, AceOne118, etc etc.
They all are funny and hilarious people with crazzzzy jokes that made me laugh till my head off. (not scaring other patrons in the restaurant, ok?)
3.)
Wymen the seremban boy.

He took me and my brother to Sunway Pyramid. I never ever forget the day we meet. I must admit, sometimes something is not easy to forget–I lost Kian’s mobile there.

Anyway, the meet was all good. We had fun, we chat…we share alot of similiarity in our life, which is cool.

Wymen’s mum called while he was driving. I softly shouted: Hello Aunty! I am Wymen’s GIRLFRIEND!!

I surely scare his sh*t out. Ekekek.

4.)
After meeting with Wymen, me and my baby brother went down to town.

Kuala Lumpur is absolutely crazy. The traffic and the dust. Absolutely madness.

Me and Meng Shuoh

I can’t remember where I ended up. I meet plenty of bloggers (and strangers)– Kenny Ng , Seng Kor (whom my brother think he looks like a Hongkie celeb. And we both couldn’t tell who is who anyway
)
Oh yeah..See! who else I meet? BEN MOH~!!!

We didn’t get to talk much at that time, but hey! We will defintely see each other again some days, yeh mate?

Oh yeah! and Zeroimpact !!! Bah! I have so much to say, yet so little time. Thank Buddha, we have MSN
Again, I was soooo dumb!!! I wanted to bang my head to the wall so badly. When I first meet zeromimpact, he said: I read your blog and I comment in your blog.
I was like…erm…who ar? who ar? who ar?
And he showed me his name!! Gosh!!! That is soooo arty!!!

Thanks Winn who invited me along.. I felt like a total stranger myself at that night surrounded my too many strangers. Abit out of my comfort zone, eh? Hope I will see you again.
p/s: for others whom I don’t mention your name, I do remember you all. Please forgive my clue-less-ness as I don’t know when I can and when I can’t mention anonymity.
And thanks for paying for me and my brother’s drink. We both deperately needing a cold drink after all the drama when I lost the mobile phone.
5.)
This is Jellyfish. Man, I went around and met up with people. The whole process is like…MARATHON.
We meant to be meeting up at the Eye On Malaysia thingy, I am so sorry, due to my stupidity, I lost my mobile consequencely my connection with you and Lyn. I deeply regreted it for not seeing you earlier. If happend you come down to Perth on Spring, we go to Araluen Park!!!

6.)
Finally! This woman!!

Hijackqueen was the very ver last blogger friend I meet. We click instantly. She is very very cheeecky!! She made me do naughty thing too. How notti is that? She made me break my New Year Resolution.
7.)
The final stop — Penang Island.
I always love Penang. I spend plenty of my childhood in Penang with my family. It was a shame I don’t get to stay any longer. Penang worth more than thousands of photos.

I meet up with Chen in Penang. We chat..and ate. I ate alot.

I tell you what…converting aussie dollar to Malaysian Ringgit, and eating like a fat pig in Penang…and and and meeting with people whom I wanted to meet since long time ago–Priceless!!!
Back Post: rewind back all the way to the 1st Jan 2007.
Woke up at 7am.
Dress code: white mild-depression.
Hair style: after-party mess.

Location:

It wasn’t me that flying off. It is our good friend, Robert.
Robert packed up and left Perth. Having to leave Jo, his family, buddies, funny friend.. chasing after his dream in HK. How exciting is that?

The soulmate..

The buddy…

The funny friend, me.

And everyone who is praying here for you.

I keep my fingers crossed, hoping the best on your side.

And yeah!! Don’t worry, I won’t miss you. *sob*
Oh yeah..Have a look at Robert’s Website as well. It is very cool, I must say.
