Blood Donation: 17th and 18th

I had my 17th blood donation on NYE which I briefly mentioned in my previous post. I totally forgotten about the 17th until I was informed that the current donation was my 18th!

I booked my appointment in advance but Red Cross Cannington had to change my scehdule 2 days before hand as they are renovating at their building.
“Cynthia, you can either wait for next month… or ”
“No! I have to do it within this week..” As a result, I had to go to Red Cross Perth CBD.

I don’t like delaying my blood donation appointment ‘cos this means that I will have to wait for another 3 months before another blood donation. >.< [I can't find a word to describe my inner competitive toward my blood donation matter/attitute]

I briefly took a photo of myself. Due to the last-min rescheduling, I didn’t got much time to organise myself; I was too busy to concentrate on drinking loads of water!

There were a few changes in Red Cross.
The major change was the compression bandaid they use - instead of the heavy duty bandaid, now they give us the loosely fit bandaid. [Ring! Ring! Must be the damn recession or what?]
I don’t fancy this much. Because as the moment I stretched my arm and tried to reach for my food…it didn’t even do their job. =(

Oh yeah! I say FOOD, am I? BIG CHANGES!!! (Read: not nibbles) ^^

It was a real deal that I was given - egg sandwich.
(uploaded the photo twice! still came out like this. =.=!!!)

There were plenty of options from ham tomato sandwich, vege, chicken.. and they are serving hot food too!! sausage rolls and pies!

Too bad, my tummy wasn’t quite ready for such a big meal at 11am. Nevermind, always the next time, right? *grin*

Have a great weekend! xoxo
