Australian Open 2010

Hello from Melbourne Park and welcome to Australian Open 2010 :)

This is my second visit here. The last time was when I was here was back in 2007.

Well, Australian Open is ALL about tennis, but if you aren’t a massive fan like me, it is in fact still quite fun being there.
Okay. I lied. I might not be able to tell all the tennis players especially the female ones. But I surely can tell you who is the good looking male tennis players :) *cheeky grin*

Apart from freebies, awesome tennis ambience, another good thing about going to Melbourne Park for the Australia Open is hanging out with good friends!

I had E* !!

E* travelled all the way from the Wild West. Woohoo!

Me and E* attended NAPSA Congress 2007 - It was the congress that brought us here. We have been talking about it ever since and we wanted to come back to Australian Open to see Federer! and here we are! *smile*

We were told that Andy Roddick was practicing at Court 16. I couldn’t I actually see him in real person. I was stunned. I didn’t even what to do. Kian said he is not the best player, so no point getting him to put his autograph on my souvenir. LOL

We stood under the hot sun, protecting the earth under us from the harmful UV rays for a while. We then decided to try our luck if we could score 2 tickets for that night Federer playing against the Romanian dracula Victor Hanescu.

We stayed in the line approximately 2-3 hours and guess what? We managed to get the tickets! Yay!

We were told that the wait was purely a gamble. The organisation won’t guarantee we would get tickets. The moment we got the tickets, we made our way to the bar and got some drinks.

The moment we walked off the bar, some random lady offered me two tickets to HiSense Arena. *yay for free tickets!*
We watched Serena Williams played!!!!!

Oh! Federer practicing. :)

7pm. The game started. I must say it was quite boring. *yawn*

Victor’s spirit and confident was broken. Audiences sitting around us screaming ‘Come on Victor’ instead of giving their support to Fedex.

I nearly fell asleep. Honestly. Well, not until they kept showing His Highness Prince William’s face on the big screen!

That’s right. Prince William. No. Don’t ask me about his crown patch. You people are so mean. *_*

Tonight is the final - Federer vs Murray. I keep my fingers crossed. No matter who is winning, I believe it is gonna be an awesome game

Fingers crossed.

*mwah* :)
