Sydney#2: China Town, University of Sydney, Octoberfest and nocte @ Darling Harbour

Nocte is latin word for night time.

Sydney#1 pretty much showed  one side of the Darling Hourbour. I’d managed to upload a lot more photos from Sydney. Yay me! :)

From left: Me, Jane and Michael

We walked around the City, and we went to China Town. Impressed. NSW China Town is awesome!

Well, just put it this way. Most of the time, all the China Town is more than the less the same - Chinese shops. Obviously.
But hey, here, they sell dirt cheap Asian patisserie!
I don’t say the cakes are cheap for no reasons. Check it out, for less than AUD2 per slice of cake! Holy sweet!
Remember, I am referring to Aussie most expensive city too *wink*

Next stop, University of Sydney.

You may ask why U Syd?
Well, we had to meet up with the local pharmer students to begin with.
Plus, I missed out NAPSA Congress Sydney 2008 when it was held in this Uni.

Actually, I’ve planned a surprise visit - wanting to make my friend cry. Epic sorta unsuccessful. He was just pretty much shocked. Very shocked :)

We were given “License to Pill” T-shirts from SUPA ^^
(something much cooler than Threadless :) )

Some of the old buildings in U Syd are magnificient!
Jane reckoned we can play quidditch here - very ‘Harry Potter’ aye?

I couldn’t resist to visit Aussie oldest School of Pharmacy. [The pride of a proud pharmer]

There were a lot of old galenicals, old books ..
Well, we CURTIN have that too, anyway :P [the competitive in me is kicking in - Yes, my uni is the best! :) ]

I was amazed when Geoff walked us thru’ the Graffiti Tunnel. How cool is that?!

After a brief tour and a lengthy meeting in the Faculty of Pharmacy, we headed back up to the City.

Sydney has so much to offer. Just the shops alone! ZOMG! Did I say shops?

(Don’t expect fashion stores from me, I don’t have the ability to pick my own clothes without assitance from certain family member and friends) *haih*

Hence, you see Haigh’s chocolate !!! Yummie and happy!!!

APPLE store!!!! *scream*
This is where I’ve changed my religion, from Microsoft to Apple. Hail the Fruit! Hallelujah!

I didn’t end up buying a slice of Apple here because I can’t be bothered carrying a laptop. I’ve got that from 6000 the following day when I flew home.

A random shot from me. :)

Tell me you like this one! ^^

Almost tea time!
We went to a local German restaurant, Lowenbrau.
That’s right! You guess it right: It was OCTOBERFEST!!!! ^^
This is the standard 1-L of amber fluid :P

Beer, pork, beer, pork, beer, pork.
Belly happy :)

We took a walk in the city - I figured out we needed it after a huge feast like this.

Uh! Check this out: *wink*
