Sydney09 #1: Darling Harbour (Day)
Hello Hello~!
Finally I have had time to organise those photos from my recent Sydney trip.
*smile* Yep! I traveled to Sydney on October - but it wasn’t a holiday. It was mostly for Pharmacy Australia Congress (PAC) and other meetings.
I don’t expect myself to do the tourist thing in Sydney this time around as I wanted to save the best bit for next time with Kian. At the end, I’ve planned to see my friends more than I did visiting. But hey! Don’t worry, I still have plenty of great photos coming up, but probably slightly content-less as I don’t like to flood the posts with work and politic.
Back to Sydney!
There’s something about the City - it is vibrant and full of energy! The traffic, people and the pace! Everything is rush, rush, rush!
Well, maybe it is just me? I mustta too comfy in Perth, nope?
Jane was my travelling companion most of the time.
Jane, from Taiwan. *everybody say HI*
We couldn’t decide what’s for lunch - Jane wanted to have Aussie pies and sausage rolls, whereas the Aussies wanted yum-cha. ^^
We started our day by walking around in Darling Harbour. The weather was absolutely gorgeous!
Michael was kind enough to meet us before he went to Uni - he showed us around in his City
The City amazed me!
I’ve spotted many nice cars. I decided to take some photos of cars instead of the City.
“OH dear! Look! Porche! 911! Look! another one! Boxter! Look! so many BMW X5!!”
“Honda Civic Sports are everywhere!” [You see the basic model Vti are everywhere in Perth, not much the Vti-L and Sport version of it. Okay, Civic might not be the nice car, but I own a Vti-L. This explains why I pay attention on this model]
“7 series again!!” after seeing countless of them. =.=!!!
Honestly, I was thrilled at first, but not for long. These are like their everyday-car. T__T
But,
Not until this:
Lamboooo!! To be more specific Lamborghini Gallardo superleggera!!! *scream!!!*
Everytime I spot a Lambo, it doesn’t fail to remind me Batman: The Dark Knight movie. A movie that I can watch for more than hundred times, at particular sequel.
Alfred (Michael Caine) asked Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) “Will you be wanting the Batmobile, sir?”
Master Wayne answered, “No”
Here’s the best bit!
“The Lamborghini, then,” Alfred responds. “Much more subtle.”
:)
