Family Holiday#6: Kintamani, Dirty Duck and Paddy Field

Here’s come my final travel blog of Bali.
Our very last stop at Kintamani:

Kintamani left me a hugh ’sigh’ more than excitement when I started thinking about my plan at Leaders in Training (LIT) program.
The situation was like this, at LIT, I suggested to the rest of participants that we could go to volcano trekking. Almost everyone was quite pleased about it. Turn out it/I was causing a bit too much problems. Ya know, logistic, re-arrangement of training schedule, and someone had mentioned “I’m here to learn, not for trekking.”
True. These people paid from their own pocket; whereas I was being paid and fully sponsored, I shouldn’t take that for granted.

me

Nevertheless, I still haven’t given up - I told Kian, one day, we will go trekking together. Just like how we did at Mulu Cave :)

The view wasn’t too bad. It could be better without those locals selling souvenirs to the tourist.

After a brief visit, we went down the hill via a different path.

Here you go, a truly breath-taking paddy field!

We off for lunch at Bebk Bengil after that - The Original Crispy Duck :)

We placed the order at 1pm, but we didn’t receive our meal till 2pm-ish.

I’ve gotten Yande to do foodie photos for me.

“Hello, my name is Cynthia - Your friendly local foodie pharmer. Today, I’m featuring Dirty Duck… ” blah blah blah

Did I ever tell you this? ^^
I always wanted to be a weather girl on telly. I never thought I will end up doing drugs like my daddy and grandpa.
All I like to do is talking, smilling, occasionally winking. I don’t fancy using my brain, much.

Here you go, the famous dirty duck.

Yande decided to go for ’something else’, and I remember what’s the ’something else’ called. :)
I was very pleased when he started taking photos of his meal ^^ [gotcha dude! woohoo!]
I, is a very proud foodie :P

Bebek Bengil is a huge eating place.

Check out their indoor interior open-air restaurant. From number 1 to 60, I don’t even know where to begin.
Very impressive, indeed.

Last photo from the resort we were staying at:

How cool is that?

That’s it for now on. Thanks for reading and sharing my travel experience in Bali. I will see you in the next episode. Same time, same day at my dot com :)
