Ipoh: Ming Court Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant
Second day, Ipoh we went.

The entire family woke up at 5am, and we drove down to Ipoh for dim sum breakfast. I was very happy as my baby sister got back from the Big City over the weekend holiday. And! And! It has been awhile since all of us had a reunion breakfast. And this time around, we have Kian with us! yay! (soon-to-be family member
)
I just love doing the whole family thing!
Dad took us to Ming Court Hong Kong Dim Sum. Apparently, this is my families’ favourite.
I am wondering: what had happened to Fu Shan? Any good still?

Kor (my brother) picked a nice table, and we started to order.
“ALAMAK!” I shouted “why those dim sum are so tiny?” T_T

My dad hence told me: you can taste them better what.
sound logic? >.<
Anyway, we ordered heaps!!! Yeah. They were so tiny and we needed that much for 7 adults ![]()
Mind you, this was just the first round. Ha!

Street Fighters: first round, fight!!!
I love pork dim sum! I can never had enough of pork when I was travelling in Malaysia!
Pork blood jelly, pork intestines, pork stomach …
The pork tasted fresh! Unlike those in Perth, there is a weird smell and taste.

Best of all, we had LOR MAI KAI!!!!!!!

Heaven, I tell you!
This is just a breakfast of second day of my trip, I haven’t even mention lunch and dinner yet! phew!

You are so mean to tempt me.
I do know how it tastes and remember how it tastes but I just crave for the food again! Ok, this one’s on for my next trip back to Ipoh. My one and only final trip before going to Oz.
Hehe. Yeah, you should go try out those tiny dim sum so you can compare those in Oz.
Lotsa ppl fancy Fuh Shan dim sum. My friend said it is slightly overrated. Really?
Fuh Shan is moving to this area too, I heard.
Eh, how come in Ipoh but never call me?
Ha! Sorry. I was sleeping in the car all the time. My parents had to run some errands in Ipoh too. Not much time I’d got. Next time aye?
xoxo
“ALAMAK!” I shouted “why those dim sum are so tiny?”
LOL, Cynthia, my sister said exactly the same thing when she came back from 6-mth stay in Aus. Now I am curious about Aussie food size.
Hehe.. you should come down and experience it yourself ^.^
Aussie dim sums are generally and genuinely BIGGER
niama….i’m f******* jealous now… *gulp*
wait till you see Miri food post
OMG! You struck GOLD!!!
Hell yeah!
So its true lah, that the Pork here in Perth is not as tasty as the Msian. My friend said it has to be the feed. Msian pig eat ‘better and healthier’ food than those in Australia.
hi Kak Flower.. i was also informed, it is due to the way they clean the pork.. I wonder myself. hehe
size doesnt really matter. just matters how it tastes. big portion just means they use alot of flour.
the pig in aust taste different coz they had too much vegemite.
