Nibong Tebal Night Market

Hello World! :)
I just got back from a 3-weeks travelling and playing tourist in Malaysia. Sorry to keep you waiting - bah! I’m wondering how many people reading this by now. Ha!

Anyway, my first stop for food hunting right after my baby brother picked me up from Penang Internation Airport:
Nibong Tebal Sunday Night Market.

(I miss the local food more than my parents. OK. I am kidding. Nibong Tebal just on the way to Bagan Serai after all :) )

First of all, a tourist shot. *yay*

I can never missed out eating the famous kueh teow soup (KTS) in this particular eating place.
The real deal here as you can see:

Awesomeness

A few years ago, Kian didn’t get to sample this so-called number one KTS, and now he got to try one, I was very determined to take a tourist shot of him.
Erm, what’s the relationship between the KTS, tourist shot and my determination anyway? LOL. Eh! The weather in Perth has been freezing cold since I got back. My brain aint working very well either due to the cold.

My baby brother - he was looking totally wtf playing tourist with us too. :)

Other food that I had to try out while I was in Nibong Tebal is:

Chives and raddish cakes (kuih). NT is famous for these dishes as well. Very nice (?) or just being me, had been craving for chives kuih for awhile? and everything seems deliciously yummie? >.<

I walked pass one of the little outlet (gerai), I saw nasi lemak! Yay for ikan bilis!

My brother ordered Assam Laksa too!! another big YAY!

Most of the time over my 3-weeks travelling, I had sour plum and lime juice or Chinese Iced Tea.
I am glad that I had survived the humidity in Malaysia. Don’t play play, I tell you!

Another thing! I saw a local hawker making sugar cane juice!
“Ney! I also want!!!” :)

There you go. 45min food hunt in NT Night Market makes two bloody happy tourists!

Till then. See you next time! :)
