Gala Ball is another NAPSA Congress Social Event; my apology…folks for not posting them in my previous post as this is another big event.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is me - Cynthia Foo.
*wtf eh?* Yeah, just in case you don’t recognise me T_T!!!

 

 

I love the dress that Kian got for me from Fashion Junkee.
For such a pretty dress and special design at the back of the dress, I couldn’t help but get my hair done professionally. (I will show you later on)

I got my hair done at St James Hair Studio. [Jesus, all of a sudden my post sounds so commercialised, and I might as well join Nuffnang! ]

 

 

I showed the hair stylist, Jaime the dress; She was impressed, and another hair stylist think the dress was SEXY.
At the end of the day, it was a very very comfortable dress too!

Back to the hair, I asked for ‘pin up’ at the back because I wanted the back of the purple dress to be featured too.
Absolutely love Jamie for doing the hair - she made me look pretty! and Kian would get horny!

 

 

Jamie also offered me to do the make-up. I was very to take up the offer as I didn’t want to whack any colour on my face and ruined the professionally done hair.

 

 

There you go. Ah Moi’s face before and afte make-up. [I dare you puke infront of your PC! =)]
And standing next to this piece of pretty art-work, is the hairstylist, Jaime.

 

 

I got the girls to pick me up slightly early so I could flag my OC (Organising Comittee) tag to reserve some seats.

 

 

Steph who picked me up from my place so I won’t be running late, fashionably.

 

 

Before everyone rocked up, I had a sense relief - last night of the Congress. Yay! It was all done!

 

 

The mission was accomplised.. and new friendships were formed.

 

 

Loves and hugs.. Congress brought all of us together.

 

 

The entire journey was amazing, especially we all had been thru’ with our loved ones.

 

 

I bumped into my uni lecture, Prof Jeff Hughes.
I took the oppurtunity to thank him for all the hard work he had done for us. I told him, I might not be the top student, but I never failed to attend all his lectures. He is my Jason Bourne.. and not much taller than me *happy*

 

 

The Gala Ball started when everyone were seated. It was then followed by Sponsors giving out speeches. 1,2,3 etc etc. Skip all that! Not important at all.

The only important sequence is this:
All the OCs got up the stage - sound ridiculous, this was the FIRST time throughout the 18 months you see all OC standing together! Never we had 100% attendacy in any meeting or so. Funny enough.. this was the first time, and sadly the last time.

Another reason this photo is choosen because you can see the back of my dress!! It’s like a T shape. Ah! So pretty!

I thought I could sit back and relax, I thought most of the work mustta been done or so. But I was quite wrong.
People lost their jacket, phone.. handbag etc etc

 

 

The security guard had been constantly calling me and getting me out from dinning area - sorting things out!
At the end, he even wanted a photo with me. Funny or what? Ha!

 

 

After all the hard work of running in and out.. finally! I could enjoy and had fun!!! Yay!

 

 

I was glad Kian could make it for the event! And he didn’t get me the sunflower - what the!? LOL - I know what are you thinking.
The sunflower was a gift from the NAPSA Congress President. James know I’m a BIG fan of sunflowers!
At the end of the day, Kian is my sunflower
