Off Subi Market

I like to believe markets are still the best source of fresh food and vege. Erm, maybe.

Kian suggested to me that we should go down to market to get some fresh grocery in Sunday arvo.
I thought, well.. It was a great idea as we haven’t been to any markets for a long time. Long time as in.. more than  1 year? ;)

I was quite excited about the whole FRESH food. Turn out, I was abit disappointed.
The mandarins were rotten on the outside. The bananas were severely and badly oxydised. The lemons were overproced.

As I walking among the people, I was feeling rather nervous, and slightly breathless. p/s: I now remember market doesn’t sell fresh air, too.

I wasn’t worried people nicking my wallet, or hitting me from behind, or the vege stall employee giving me the evil-look for choosing my winter melon for long time….

All I care was, please you people! Do NOT step on my pretty shoes!! They are my favourite colours!!!

    Subi Jaya markets!!!! :-)

I often get my fresh vegies from Gosnells Railway & Bogen markets. They are fresher than getting them from Woolworths or Coles.

And if you feel like exercise, you can pick a fight wuith a bogen whilst you’re there! :-)
