Another February.. Another Year.. I am officially one year younger! Hoooray!
Happy Birthday to me!

Me and Kian were abit unfortunate this time. We both got stung by stingers!

I couldn’t tell where those stingers coming from. All I knew is, the moment, I had swollen
patches along my arm.
Several signs and symptoms: pain(!!!!), sharp pointing pain(!!!!!), itchy, burning sensation,
and still, very very pain!!!

These are the helpful tips:
1. get yourself a bottle of vinegar, and pour onto the sting. [quite a painful experience]
2. cold pack! any cold pack to reduce the swalleness, inflammation.
3. do NOT panic.
if you experience any other alarming symptoms such as shortness of breath, increasing
redness/swallonness, chronic pain… use your common sense, seek medical help ASAP lah!!
We both didn’t get into the severe stage. But, it was quite an experience, I must say.
See! Because I was ‘in pain’.. I had the priority to do eat everything, and do everything I
wanted to.I got to eat first, use the spa first, watch my favorite telly program first.. etc.
Oh well, thou I wasn’t in pain, I still get to do everything
I want, really. I am daddy’s little girl after all, remember?

My favorite places of Down South still go to Margaret River Nuts and Cereal. Uh!
The muesli biscuits are fabulous!

Cape Lavender Farm! The whole farm smells so beautiful.

Another ‘best’ of the best(est) during my parents stay in Town was… Nan’s cooking!!!!!
It was superb! We all just couldn’t get enough.

I, on the other hand, did some ang moh (western) cooking for my Nan and parents.
Nan likes my cooking!
Very impressive. Very proud.

Till then for my trip to Down South.
p/s:
I sent my parents and Nan to airport yesterday. It was depressing, I felt that I have to be by own, officially. This IS it. No more extra pocket money. So yeah, graduation is not fun at all. Another journey of my life just started… Reality has just slapped my face, really hard. I am so scared.
Kian told me he asked my dad some ‘questions’. I was very excited, yet very nervous. Does this mean that my dad is ready to let me go as well? Do I, really, have to be a grown-up? I wundah…
Last year was Kian’s.. This year is mine.
Honestly, I was so over the graduation mood long time ago. Erm, let’s see, long way before when I completed my final paper? I personally think, the purpose of the ceremony is to keep the folks entertained.
Ya know, like my chinese parents, who work their ass off thru’out the years, and save the money so damn hard so I can get a Degree. Therefore, entertainment is brought to them by the uni, keeping the ‘customers’ happy, ensuring their money is well spend. At the end of the day, hopefully they forget all the blood-sweat money making moment.

My parents are in Town at the moment. Thank Buddha, Perth is having such a fabulous weather this week, otherwise I am pretty sure my dad will hate Perth.
Kian is the primary camera-man for the whole night. He has been using David’s camera. Meanwhile, he got me another new toyboy - IXUS 74. Pre-birthday pressie. wOOt.
I wore a not very parental-friendly dress. Er, I mean.. my cups were like.. er, flowing nicely. sweet. Hehehe.

The V.I.P in my life –(from left) nana, mummy and daddy. Endless of thanks. Of course, Kian, my ney. You are everything.

Aunty Verna is another V.I.P — my soulmate, my girlfriend, my mom.
She gave me a bouquet of sunflower!!! Yes! My favourite flower!!! Sunny and Happy! So awesome!!

Some other glamorous shots with my friends whom I’ve been thru’ uni with:

Thanks alot for borrowing me your notes.. I promise I won’t skip lectures anymore.

Photo taken in the toilet! I think I did well by fitting most of us in my new toy boy. So proud.

With Richard – another brain from the Congress . Another person whom I always look forward to work with.
I was told: This is not the end of the journey. Fact, it is just the beginning for real life.
Seriously? If that is the case, quick! SLAP ME! Someone! wake me up!!! Quick!

Kian thinks the sunflower is outstanding, just like my *ahem*

Awesome Threesome. Partners in crime in the lab.

Serisouly, that camwhore-gene in running in the blood. Mum and Nana had been dragging me everywhere for tourist photos! They are so cute!

Dad took this photo for us. Speaking of me and Kian, don’t even get me started the conversation ’bout our future wedding dinner. sweat hell man.

The whole ceremony was quite boring. We all have to wait for the hundreds of ppl to be called out. I have sore feet now, and it is not even funny at all.
Till then, more photos and updates soon. Night.
1. I managed to borrow a hardcore camera from Dabido. It is aweome. Nikon D80. I want one as well. Damn it!
Thanks David, it is great!
2. I had site visit at UWA for preparation for the Congress. All the time, I’ve been busy taking photos for the places, people etc. When I got home, I realise I am not in any of the photos! what? OK, I admit, I am an attention-seeker after all. Trust me, if there is a camera like that, you really wanna be in there.

3. I did nothing on Valentine’s Day, but work. No dinning out. No roses. Kian came down to my work because I didn’t have lunchbox with me.
I always think 14th Feb is too commercialised. The media, business people all trying to nail your money for god’s sake.
I don’t like guys buying roses at the very first place. Gay act. Why you have to proove to other culprits you are just as romantic as them? A rose cost 10 bucks. With 10 bucks, you can buy 9packs of rice. A rose won’t be able to last more than few days(?). 9kilos of rice can last for few weeks. You need to fill your stomach before romance, I truly believe.
4. Parents are coming to Town. And my nana. I’m looking forward for their visit. I’ve been cleaning the house, for abit.
Accomodation at Down South has been booked. Lunches and dinners all organised. Not all, but mostly.

5. I need to find some motivation to be abit more geeky, creative and active. Every now and then, I get back from work, I have dinner while watching abit of telly. Few minutes later, I fall alseep on the couch. Kian woke me up, get me to my bed. I sleep till the very next day and start the routine all over again- work, home, bits and pieces.
Uh!

Hello everyone! Thanks for all your texts, emails..They are so lovely, some of them are quite funcky too! Awesome! I feel so loved.
WE like to wish you all a very very Happy Chinese New Year. Wish you all a healthy and properous year! If you already married, don’t forget to gimme an ang-pow (Red Packet). p/s: I accept cash-less Red Packet. All I want is the good luck wish from you all. Cheers!
Something for exciting! Yes! The boy is back in Town. YAY!

more YAY-ness — I finally got my camera back.
We headed down to The Left Bank for our own version of little reunion dinner. The seafood platter was sooo good.

More self-portrait from me.
We went down to Fo Guang Shan Temple (W.A) at Mayland. The feeling was just so very Chinese-New-Year!

I was wearing the same dress from dinner. For you truely Chinese folks, yes, it is indeed not very (traditionally) Chinese friendly.

I will post out more photos in my next coming entry.
YAY! More colourful pictures for my weblog, no more photo-less entries.
*awesome*
