Hailstorm in South Perth
I experienced my first hailstorm today.
It happened at approximately 320pm or so. I was taking a shower, getting myself organised for work. I heard there was a loud noise out there. WOW!

Man! This cannot be real–I said to myself. Kian wasn’t at home at that time. I couldn’t share this special moment with him. Argh! I quickly grabbed my camera, and took some photos before they melted.

Unlike other individual experience of hailstorm…This one was sooooo tiny and cute!!! Look! They looked like tiny pearls..and melted on my fingers.

They were all over everywhere– our rose garden, neighbour’s garden.

Backyard..

I was kinda panic as I had to rush to work too.

But yeah, I never forgotten to snap some nice photos for Kian, you and myself.

Hail can be scarey too. Sometimes they get so big here you have to repair your roof and they make dent on cars. No fun to drive in either. Sounds like rocks hitting the car.
But glad you could enjoy your hail and share with us.
You should’ve keep some in the freezer for Kien to see.
I seen things like this in Kuching but I dun think they are as many as shown in your pic. Just probably for two to three minutes… followed by heavy rain. Usually occur after a drastic change of temperature.
I remember a bad hail storm we had in Sydney. I was working for Toyota at the time, and soem of the cars looked like people had taken shot guns to them.
Once a car has suffered major hail damage, it’s nearly impossible to sell it!
At least you got some cute hail that didn’t do much damage!
I got better idea than Hijack Queen, put them in a crystal bowl, pour Gula Melaka over it…yum yum!
simple american:yeah, i was told previouly the hailstorm meant to be ‘BIG’..but this is soo tiny!
hijckqueen: i was running late..aisk, i never thought of that mah. is not snow anyway mah.
choonie: I think the halstorm lasted only 1-2 minutes only, as by the time i was out of shower..there wasn’t eveb raining anymore.
dab: yeah, pretty lucky here. No dramas *touch wood*
cooknengr: I tried the real snow before when i was having my holiday in melbourne. we added cordial..whereas the aussie added few shots of scott and vodka!
hey, cool! no hailstorm here, not even rain. it’s been getting warmer these days… is it Spring yet?
