This is the ONLY photo I took when I was introduced to everyone. Broke (NAPSA President) inroduced me to everyone, she invited me to the stage as well. I was so shy. *cough* I felt I am so tiny, and I didn’t know how to respond. Just when everyone eyed on me, I took my camera out and quickly captured that moment. Yeah! That’s why most of them were giggling.
Wondering if anyone keep the photo of me standing on the stage with Broke?

Another Parnimal [TM] session– The PUP CRAWL~!

It didn’t started so well as I realised I lost my bank card somewhere few minutes before pub touring. It took at least half an hour to contact my bank. But it was all sorted, and I could even collect my bank the next day! How cool is that? I love Melbourne for this reason, too.
All thanks go to Micheal for helping me. I nearly gave up going if he didn’t come along. Cheers buddy, we catch up at The Deen when I finish my holiday.
Oh yeah!! One more thing!! When people asked me: “why are you running late?” I told them: ‘I lost my bank card’. (I tried to hide my miserable-ness I’m sure).
You know what? These bunch of people replied me: “Do you want me to LEND you some money?”
WHAT THE TOOOOOT??
Lend me money???? TOOOOOT lar!!!
I expect more reasonable, more empatized, more sympathized, more civilized answer like this:
” OH Cynth..I am sorry… (you don’t need to feel soory one actually).. CAN I BUY YOU A DRINK???”
This answer is more human friendly. Right? Lend me money??? TOOOOOOT !!!!

I was all set. Micheal and me… 9 bourborns (each) at first 15min. Countless Jaiger Bombs till all the way to Crown. I was so set.

Just before you go on thinking this and that, I don’t support alcoholism and neither workship hang-over. I was very well controlled. Sophia thinks I look great too!!

By the way… Last thing!!! 24th Jan 2007, approximately 9pm.
If you hear or see a tiny lady running (in a straight line) at Lygon Street, Melbourne, screaming: “RUN!! FORREST!! RUN!!”
Yep. I was me.
First comes first, NAPSA Congress is not just all about party, we did have some brainstorming lectures and debate sessions as well. Yeah, why I bother mentioning this? neh…in case you think I am all that Parnimal [TM]* ^.^
I took countless photos of speakers. And I deleted countless amount of not-so-nice photos. I am not pro-photographer, but I am one pro big-time wannabe. Putting my photos in Australian pharmacy megazine with my name on it..erm, they must be quality.
For speakers themselves only, here are my TOP 3 favorite photos out of ~2 Gig of photos [!!!!]
There are few things I looked at thru’out the process of selecting photos. Firstly,I want the people ‘fit’ in nicely in the frame–no missing head, arm, or whatsoever.

Secondly, I want a almost-perfect facial expression of the speaker. This is very significant for me (personally) in order to derive the personality of the speaker and so thus the atmosphere of the Congress.

But damn it! Most of the speakers are not cooperative enough. They were all busy looking at their notes and forgetting to look at the little camera friend here–me; or they had too much facial expressions (& body language) that made me taking photos all the time, turn out, I had to go thru’ gazillion photos for some ppl. Pffft.

Anyway…back to the funimal*[TM] part. Shall we?
THE TOGA PARTY!!!!
This is my very very first Toga party, and I was really really excited. I love dressing up party like this!
WAPSA in orange/mandarin. Erm..I must carefully ‘wrap’myself in this color, otherwise I would end up look like a monk.

Yellow and Violet. Nice…

Baby blue. Sweetness [of the color, not people]

PINK!! Hot and gawwwwwgeous~!!!!

Me with Suyi.

I just couldn’t help taking heaps of photos of myself in bathroom so I can show ALL of them to Kian. I had been taking photos for everyone, and at the end I realise I don’t have much photo myself in big group. *sob*

Dragged Micheal (from WAPSA) in as well…my drinking buddy.

Cheerio~! It is already at Day 3!!! You are half way there
**
Parnimal [TM] = Party Animal ; Funimal [TM] = Funny Animal
Hey people ! No matter you like it or not, I will ‘die die’ post up ALL the NAPSA Congress. I love it so much. Oh well, you knew that–if I am not able to compose a great article, but I still have great photos!
Day 2 was a free day. Heading down to Vodaphone Arena. Watching Australia Open.

I took thousand of photos with my s3. These are parts of them.
Yeah..look at the sequnces of this looser stroking his ball. :P [ Roger Federer IS the only champ..so naturally the rest are the loosers, right? You don’t call looser pseudo-champ, would ya?] Anyhoo…I was so ill yesterday, otherwise I would make my way down to Melbourne taking some photos of that champ. Argh~!Is OK, doesn’t bother me. Is not Ricky Gervais anyway.
See this looser in actions……

Let me introduce: TOMMY HAAS!!!!
Whoah!!! He is sooo …..HOT?

Maybe? SEE! What is he touchin/comforting in public?
Hahaha

I know. That is brilliant eh? How cool is that?
Dinner at Lygon St. The retaurants businessman were so competitive getting customers along the street, it kinda freak me out. Bloody tourist destination. The food sucks big time too!!!

This is Rhyan*, who got me the title of official photographer. This was the moment we meet.

Me in Melbourne tram…heading to Crown.

Parrrrrtyyyyy!!!

and guess what?

“1 missed call–Mum”
Classic!!!!
NAPSA Congress was a blast! I must say this again and again, am I? ;D
It was awesome! I meet heaps of heaps of great druggie students all over Australia. Oh well, that’s just part of the fun, really.
I haven’t mention the parties, pub crawl, brain storming lectures [that sometimes can put me into my sleep]…

and ME!! Being the official photographer for the Congress!!! *happy*

I was all sexcited being the photographer, as you all know how much I can come on my own art works and all that. But, the end result..kinda suckx.
I ended up with superb sore neck and shoulder, and I am so tired carring my camera around all day. (UH!)
Yeah, being official photographer for not getting paid, can be quite suckky too. But, I am all happy. I can simply walk around taking photos like no body business, and work as if I am the ‘real’ photographer.. The feeling is simply priceless even I don’t get to paid a penny or not even been given a free T-shirt.
Yeah….taking photos for everyone..seeing their smiling faces all over and over again.. It is worth it! Best. Moment. Eva.

Lotsa people asked me: how did you get into that job?

It was a plain dumb luck. I think. Went out dinner one night at Lygon St, meet a random NAPSA delegate Rhyan from NAPSA Publication. I didn’t know what to say …in order to keep the conversation going, I showed him my photos…and he offered me the job, and I said YES without any second thought. Simple as that.

I took more than few tousands of photos and these are just the ‘few’photos from the first night–welcome party.

I set up the self-timing thingy…and happend to be a gal walking right passed without realising us self-taking photo.
Check out these people shocking scraeming faces!!!! Hahahahah!! Awesome mannn! [side note: the gal in yellow seriously got shocked till her arse off. Not quite funny, really]

Now! This is much better~!

I am wondering if anyone else from NAPSA have me in their photos? I have very limited photos with me in there. If there is, can you please send a copy for me please? Thanks. I sincerely appreciate it.
Send me an email via ‘CONTACT’ and I will reply ASAP.
Cheers!

Monday: Dragon Seafood and DimSum Restaurant, Northbridge.

I spent some GQT (Girl Quality Time) with one my girlfriend, J*. It was a second visit of this particular restaurant and what I like the most if the chaised-dimsum. Nah! This is not the highlight of the day.

The funny part was, there was this 60+++++ Hong Kong origin old man, looking at J* and pointing at me, : Is this your DAUGHTER??
This questions stonned both of us. Obviously, me so happy. Me? So young? Haha!
But hey! Mr. Oldman, your pick-up line is very outdated in some way thou =.=”’
He told us he has been living in Perth since 30 years ago, and his grandaughter is older than me. The thing is, he still think I’m 18 or 20!

Either way, I’m so speechless. Deep down under, I can’t hide my excitement over a lousy complement like this. Yes, I don’t want to grow old!
Tuesday: Utopia Vegetarian House, Northbridge.
Meeting up with some Perth bloggers.
Additional information: click here

Initially, I had no intention to come to Utopia, but this fella here asked me: is the drink had dishwashing liquid ..or something like that?
Heck? I ‘die die’ must bring him to Utopia and show him my favorite drink. Great! One big chunk of calories because of you, David!
I *heart* bubble tea! I *heart* bubble tea! I *heart* bubble tea!
The lady in red is Charmaine, from cynical-idealist.blogspot.com

Wednesday: Miami House, Bicton.
Due to my busy ’social’ work, I haven’t got much time packing lunch box for Kian, so I decided to ask Kian out for lunch during his break.

Miami House is all about PIE, PIE, and more PIES.

Nothing so interesting taking photos over a boring-look yummidelicious pie, so I camwhore!

Wednesday: Hyatt Hotel, Perth.
Warning: High sugar content! Read at your own risk babe!

Me and Kian did a little catching up with our old friend, V*. It was a favolous arvo–friends, envo, memories, friendship… (this type of statement, is getting gayier and gayier if I keep going on and on especially words are constructed early in the morning. Erm..I wonder, Is it only quite night time allow me to be so emo? bah! whatever. ) =.=”’
p/s: V* is not available for both female and male, in case you were going to ask me

Ta dah!!! Lemme introduce you my NEW BOYFRIEND!!!!
CANON S3is!!!!!

So, you really think it IS my new bf? Nah! It is my new toyboy!! Awesome mann!!
I even bought a new bag for it. Yes! Crumpler(TM) to go for extra protection! Me *heart* Crumpler(TM) Me wanna hump my Crumpler(TM)!!!! Haha!

Our very very first photo with my new camera.

For Perthies.. I have some tips for you when you wanna buy a camera in WA.

I’ve got this new bf for very very reasonably low price. Just that when you think internet (australia based) prices are very low, apparently Healey from Harvey Norman City West beat all the price I asked for!!!
Seriously!!! I’m so happy.
Honestly, when come to purchasing an big item, I must admit the price is very very significant for a tight-arsed full-time uni student and part-time retail assistant with limited budget like me. I just can’t help! I’m horny ok? I want a new toyboy!
But I always prioritise buying experience too. I sometime rather pay abit more so that the whole buying process will make the rest of the photography experience even betta! *February Pisces* –> unrealistically romantic! I’m not sure for the others, but for me, I am paying for the item and service, plus the buying experience. Ermm..are you abit like me? or you are different? *wink*
I’ve got Healey’s permission to put his name up in my weblg. He is a cute guy. Not as cute as Kian, Jude Law, Matt Lucas or David Brent, but still, quite cute. I asked him: are you hump-able date-able? He didn’t answer my question well, probably he didn’t hear me well. NVM. I also asked him: do you have a gf? I couldn’t remember much, he said he wants guy. I am abit confused with his sexual preference thou.
But either way, he is still cute.
Yeah! He gave me good price on 2Gig memory card and battery charger too! He is sooo cute!!!
Speaking of cute…my shrinking wallet is so damn NOT cute!! *sigh* =.=”’

1. Are you happy/satisfied with your blog, with its content and look? Does your family know about your blog?
Erm..in some way, YES. In some way, NO.
My family members know I keep a weblog. I doubt those rellies from Bagan Serai read it.
2. Do you feel embarrassed to let your friends know about your blog or you just consider it as a private thing?
EMBARRASSED? NO WAY!! You know what? My facial skin is thicker than coffin wood, can?
To be honest, I love to show people my photos. I love the happy moments, smiles, and my arty photos. I love ‘em to comment on my pictures and my creativity as well. But to some extend, I try to keep a low profile in my profession due to confidentiality.
3. Did blogs cause positive changes in your thoughts?
Most of the time YES. I’m a extreme optimistic myself. I always try to see the positive side of everything.
4. Do you only open the blogs of those who comment on your blog or you love to go and discover more by yourself?
Depend how much time I’ve got on that day itself and how busy I am. You know me…a very busy person in my life, for derno what reasons.
5.What does visitors counter mean to you? Do you care about putting it in your blog?
The statistic means something for me. It sorta determines how many photos I will put up in a post. If I get quite abit of readers/viewers, meanning there will be higher turn-over of photo volume. If I get less, there will be slightly lesser photos to be shown. YEAH!! I want everybody who drop by my blog see my photos!!!! *desperate camera addict*
6. Did you try to imagine your fellow bloggers and give them real pictures?
Bah! I see ‘em quite often. What’s the point of imagination? This is not a ’sex’ thing right?
7. Admit. Do you think there is a real benefit for blogging?
Yes! The friendship, the little blogger community, the gossip, the stories etc etc… priceless! Blog for money? Erm…I haven’t think that far yet. Maybe I should eh? Or at least I need to look for some richman or richman’s son to pay for my hosting and domain name. Hahaha!
8. Do you think that bloggers society is isolated from real world or interacts with events?
What type of question is this? Me organised THREE blogger meets last year, endless blogger friends paaaaarrrrties, lunches, catching-ups, bubble tea sessions .. =.='’
Oh yeah! There will be another one coming up on March. So, PERTH BLOGGERS!!! *ahem* You know what to do, eh?
9. Does criticism annoy you or do you feel it’s a normal thing?
Depend what type of criticism, really. Thank Buddha!!! I haven’t get much from my readers. But either way–positive comments will remain positive; negative and nasty critics will turn into positive thoughts. At the end of the days, they still boost my egoism in someways. Haha. *told you! I’m one psycho positive Pisces!”
10. Do you fear some political blogs and avoid them?
Nah! Not really. I love critical thinking.
11. Did you get shocked by the arrest of some bloggers?
Abit. I know that person ok? I might look like a hardcore working female, but deep down in my heart..I’m warm-blooded mammal. *insert puppy eyes*

12. Did you think about what will happen to your blog after you die?
no wor. I did think what to do with my body and my funeral. Blog? Bah! I don’t even know what to do with my savings yet. =)
13. What do you like to hear? Whats the song you might like to put a link to in your blog?
I used to play ‘Handbags and Gladrags’ (the theme of ‘The Office’ UK) in my good ol’ blogspot. But now..nah! If, if, if…if I want to play a song..I will play ‘Black Fingernails, Red Wine’ by Eskimo Joe.
