Pancakes For Breakfast

Taaa Daa~! I made some pancakes on last Sunday morning for our breakfast. Hm..to be specific, it was kinda for lunch :) It was great!

These are the ingredients I used for 2 people:
1. organic self-raising flour –1 cup
2.full cream milk– 1 cup
3.baking power–1/2 teaspoon
4.egg–1
5.butter–1 table spoon, melted.
Sieve the flour, baking powder and a small pint of salt through a siever. This increases the porosity of the flour, and ot gives better texture at the end as well. Beat an egg, lightly. Add the melted butter, beaten egg and milk together. Mix tehm well in a bowl.

Add the mixture to the sieved flour.
Mix all of ‘em up!! Yeah~! Let’s party!! You are getting there once they are mixed well. Heat up the non-stick frying pan with medium heat. Melt butter. Add the mixture.
These are the pancakes:

They look like Roti Canai from the picture.

The texture was absolutely faboulous!! They taste so much different from the one in bottle. I high recommend you do your own pancake. :)

Me and Kian used several different topping.. Jam, honey, very very little maple syrup. I dun really fancy maple syrup, too runny. I prefer the high visocity and sweetness (=goodness) from honey. Oh, you can add strawberries, banana…anything to pancake.

Have fun!!!

p/s: Im thinking of baking muffins or scones with the rest of flour. Will see eh? :)

I always use the prepack flour. Maybe it’s time I mix the flour myself.
