A drop of blood and a smile

I had my second blood donation of this year. It is my 9th donation, and it is still counting. *fingers crossed*

I usually go to Carousel ’cause some of the nurses know me quite well. Hmm, apparently Sally (a middle age Asian nice lady, originally from where I come from) wasn’t there. She is the one know my vein very well. *this sentense sounds so not-right*. Anyway, I would worried less having her poking needle into arm, oh well, this time, I got a hot nurse did for me. Mind you, she is not bad.
Actually, different people might have slight different way to do their job. I am happy as long as at the end of the donation, I manage to bleed out 470mL in less than 6.5minutes, faster than Forrest Gump running across the nation. Woohoo~! ^_*

Australia Red Cross Blood Service, Westfield Carousel.

I always encourage my friends or anyone of you to donate their blood as long as they are eligible. Mind you, not everyone can do that. You must be perfectly healthy. Hmm.. still, you must have sufficient level of iron, haemoglobin etc etc. To find out more, click here.

To think about it, from a beginning of a donation till sending them to a receiver, and saving a person life, there are lotsa bits and pieces, reasons and factors have involved. Therefore, it is, indeed an unique donation.

I try to make blood donation as part of routine in my life, not that I scared of I am going to hell ;) simply because I want to give back what I’ve been taken from the society, and to other ppl who give. I don’t really have extra money or old unused items to donate, but I certainly have blood to give. :)
Have a quick peep inside of the blood donation center. =)

Ok, if you stingy with your money, I understand. If you scared of needle, I understand. But trust me! It is PAINLESS!!! =)

Ok? Still chicken out? I suggest you ‘donate’ your smile to people around you, cheer them up everyday when they see you, it is a ‘donation’ as well. If not, I see you in hell.
Hahah!*touch wood*

=)

Congrats on the way to being a legalised drug dealer of the state, not having one true modicum of care for self improvement. Me I pick and choose, extend a high I might already be on in life, but never to help a low period. A recipe for dependance destuction and death. But I see this is why u might like Huai or similar, to hand out the sweets of the state like a demented Willy Wonka. You all make me mentally sick.

as far as I can see, the best time to be on psychoactives is during a celebration, sex or a wedding day. Not scraping up a Darwinian pathetic under or overweight corpse through his agony filled days imo.

Omg, 6.5 mils lol. I donated blood yesterday :D

Well sort of. The blood was used for more research on my health ^_^. Did a blood test.

The nurse asked me for 3 vials of blood. My mouth dropped. I nearly screamed (I’m pain-phobic).

Had to drive back with only my right arm.
