Warning: Pictures overloaded =)
Me and Kian went up to Mundaring, an eastern suburb of WA, 18km from Perth CBD. It took us about 35-45 minutes to reach there. Mundaring is located in Perth Hill; Hill as in xx kms from sea level(?). I guess.

Anyway, our purpose driving all the way up there was trying a pizza place called Little Caesars (click here) . I was told by many many people including Nadia, in which the pizzas in Little Caesars had won plenty of International awards, and they taste very good, and Nadia did mention about the New York Pecan Pie pizza for several times when we catch up. So, in that case, I think I really really want to check it out myself while Kian is having short break from work.
Just before showing all the typical blogger food pictures, I think I would love to show off the entire pizza place, for my own memory sake. Mind you, dude =)
We were welcomed my the friendly waitperson. *smile* OK, I must say 99.999% of waitresses are HOT. I mean, they are pretty. That’s what Kian said as well. Hmm.. I guess this is something to do with the location they are living. Think of Ipoh, Perak (Malaysia), wherever you see a ‘lenglui’ (pretty girls), you think of Ipoh and sometimes you tend to ask the girl: Hey, are you from Ipoh? Yeah, that sort of question. Oh well, you know what I mean. =)But, don’t ask me if I am from Ipoh, even I am pretty, it doens’t mean I am from Ipoh. *gosh*, I hafta thickned my skin few inches and hold my bull-size gut to say this mann. =P
Little Caesars is a small restaurant. How small? Very small!!–only 4 tables available for dinning inside the restaurant. And I kid you not.
(one of the left end corner, and three tables on the right. That’s it)
This is the general view of the kitchen area, where world best pizzas produced.
The kitchen is not big either, compared to commercialised pizza places, this is really tiny.
Now, these are the food pictures. As usual, the TBS. TBS=Typical-Blogger-Syndrome(TM)
We ordered 4 small pizzas in total, including a dessert pizza. The prices are very very reasonable comparing to Domino, Broadway etc etc.
This is Oyster Kilpatrick. It was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant! (say it with a little bit of British accent) The ingredients used was fresh; from the onion, bacon, herbs… you name it. Once place it on the mouth, the aroma of the pizza was like dissolving.
This is White Rock’s Roast. Again, the texture of the potato, the freshness of ingredients used. Another best thing I love about the pizza over here is the bread base. It was PERFECT. It’s like the first time I finish the crust! Holy Moly~!I must say that. I am a bit particular when I come to pizza. Maybe this is very personal thingy, but, really, I think a good pizza should taking consideration of the base. Not sure? Ask Eddie, Cooknengr =)
This is my favorite amongst the savory pizzas, Chicken Fettucine. Yes, they use F.E.T.T.U.C.IN.E. (!). How? Use your imagination or go to Mundaring!! =) 2 thumbs up for the creativity of the chef. *_^ Well done!
Award winning dessert pizza: New York Pecan Pie. Quote from the menu: Butterscotch pudding mix, pecans, icing sugar, golden syrup, caramel sauce, pecan toffee.
Eh? Complicated? Heheh
Nah! The taste is simply yummy~!!!!!
ALL pizza I had, I must say there were carefully crafted, beautifully baked. It wasn’t firewood baked, but, to be honest, I can’t ask for more than that. They were very tasty. ALL of them!
Oh, I thought I love this picture of Kian looking at the pizza, so I put it up. =)

So, when I was told they won plenty of awards.. and Kian did mention: Award winning restaurant might not be as good as it got rated. This time, it proves him wrong. It is NO BULL at all.
Great service, great pizzas, great dinning place, great coffee (AUD$2.50 per medium-to-large size expresso coffee, no extra charge for double shots expresso)

What can I say? Go Mundaring! Eat pizzas at Little Caesars!! ^_^
Hmm… maybe next blogger meet over there? *smile*
I had my second blood donation of this year. It is my 9th donation, and it is still counting. *fingers crossed*
I usually go to Carousel ’cause some of the nurses know me quite well. Hmm, apparently Sally (a middle age Asian nice lady, originally from where I come from) wasn’t there. She is the one know my vein very well. *this sentense sounds so not-right*. Anyway, I would worried less having her poking needle into arm, oh well, this time, I got a hot nurse did for me. Mind you, she is not bad.
Actually, different people might have slight different way to do their job. I am happy as long as at the end of the donation, I manage to bleed out 470mL in less than 6.5minutes, faster than Forrest Gump running across the nation. Woohoo~! ^_*

Australia Red Cross Blood Service, Westfield Carousel.
I always encourage my friends or anyone of you to donate their blood as long as they are eligible. Mind you, not everyone can do that. You must be perfectly healthy. Hmm.. still, you must have sufficient level of iron, haemoglobin etc etc. To find out more, click here.
To think about it, from a beginning of a donation till sending them to a receiver, and saving a person life, there are lotsa bits and pieces, reasons and factors have involved. Therefore, it is, indeed an unique donation.
I try to make blood donation as part of routine in my life, not that I scared of I am going to hell
simply because I want to give back what I’ve been taken from the society, and to other ppl who give. I don’t really have extra money or old unused items to donate, but I certainly have blood to give. ![]()
Have a quick peep inside of the blood donation center. =)

Ok, if you stingy with your money, I understand. If you scared of needle, I understand. But trust me! It is PAINLESS!!! =)
Ok? Still chicken out? I suggest you ‘donate’ your smile to people around you, cheer them up everyday when they see you, it is a ‘donation’ as well. If not, I see you in hell.
Hahah!*touch wood*
=)
We took Tze to Swan Valley.
I voluntered to drive the car(!). But I didn’t drive home after few sips of wine.
Firstly, we stopped at Sandalford Winery.
It got nice view there. A bit commercialised, to my personal oppinion. Oh well, this is what tourist looking for, innit? =)

Blue sky, chilly breeze, winter sun.

This is the out door dinning area. Shamely, grapes don’t grow during winter. so all we could possibly spot was leaveless plant. =) Not so bad.
This is the retail area of Sandalford. Wine tasting is NOT FREE here.
They even mention how much they are going to charge per head. Hehehe.. Oh well, it is not so good for those people who are trying to take advantages..
Me, Kian and Tze had a bit of wine tasting, and bought two bottles of Rose.*regret. It is slighly expensive compared to local bottle shops* Guess what? We didn’t get charged for it. Hmmm.. I guess we didn’t go overboard and we are good customer. =)
Ok, this is a tip. Don’t bother to try too much wines in a single winery as there are plenty of genuine wineries where you can go and ‘taste’ (not drink) the wines for FREE.
Another tip: If you are thinking of getting more than 6 bottles of wine, I personally think don’t purchase them in Swan Valley, ’cause it is quite expensive; you can always buy local wine in local bottle shops for greater deal. Look up Entertainment Book if Woolworth or Liquorland doesn’t have them on special. =) [ARgh! My heart is still aching for spending extra dollars! nb!]
By the way, always know your limit (refer here) and don’t drink and drive. It is dangerous =)
Note: some generous wineries do offer FREE cheese tasting! Look up the signboard as you drive. Ah!! I had quite abit of cheese, and I was wanting to buy them. Guess what? The cheese wasn’t on sale. OOpps.
Next stop: The Margaret Rover Chocolate Factory.

Yes, again, FREE chocolate tasting. =)
During my previous trip, there wasn’t any staff members standing next to the chocolate, and eyeing on the customers. But apparently, there are staff members acting like ‘Tua Pek Kong” (Tao ‘God’ statue) yielling at the kid: ENOUGH! You have enough chocolate, love!!!
Oh well, I guess there must be too many people helping themselves too freely with those yummy chocolate. But really, if they want to stop people from taking too much, why they give out such a big piles of chocolate? I wonder…..
I helped myself with a bit of chocolate. Moderate amount of cocoa and sugar is nice, if it is too much, it kills. =)

Those are the traffles…….
and traffles……
and traffles… and more chocolates!!!!
=)
I had made a storage from shoe box and old calender, thank you and birthday cards; and most recently recycle papers. This time, I made EARRINGS. Not just one pair, but freaking 24 pairs(!)
*I left one pair out* Oooops ^_^

They all are different designs and colours. Ok, some bead shapes maybe the same, but different colours. They are all unique. =)

Love the blue… feel like crystal blue ocean.

Violet crystal looks classy, in my personal opinion. If not, at least they look like Winter Lavender. =)

Sea green or emerald is my favorite. The look rather refreshing–goes well with the sun. How cool is that? ^_*
The length of the earrings are between 6-8cm. Some are even longer. =) I made couple of 5.5cm ones for people who have short neck like me. Tee hee hee~!!
These are emerald bracelets. I made few of them in different designs, yet mainly in limey jade green in colour, so that a person can either wear all of them in one time, or individually.

This is the only necklace I have made so far. It took me ages to get the measurement right. Phew! Seeing my own art work is a world best satisfaction, indeed. =)
Have a closer look of the necklace. I made a matching set which contains of earring, bracelet and necklace based on these colors. =)

Hmm.. what do you think?
p/s: Oh yeah! I cam teach you how to make one if you want. But, if you are interested in buying them, you are more than welcomed.
Earrings cost between AUD6-AUD8, depend on the design. Not too expensive, right? *_^ Bracelet and necklace? Hmm.. let me know, if you want them =) Heehee. Any questions??
Ok, I have some pictures specially taken for a “good reason”. Ekekeke… What’s the reason? Hmm.. I let you know when everything is confirmed, ok? If thing doesn’t worked out, at least I am not that ‘lau phui’. =)
Robert helped me out with the pictures. Lotsa hard work and sweats for cold winter afternoon. =) Tze helped me to carry things around. Worst thing for me was: I have to smile and laugh at the camera. A bit weird when I was thinking for the whole lot.
This pictures is taken from City .

I personally like this one. This is more ‘me’. Naturally. =) *ahem*

This is taken from South Perth. Very Cheesie. Bah! Forr that ‘good reason’. .. That’s what Robert say. And, don’t look at my cleavage. I know I have one =)

This is taken in City as well. Behind one of the building of St George Terrace. We randomly walked in, and took some pictures before we were chased out.
Hey, what do you think? Which one you like the most? Any opinion? =)
I’ve made several cards in the past. There were some difficulties which I came across were looking for the right paper, colors and texture of paper is quite hard. Oh, maybe I am fussy. I want things close to perfect in my way. =)
As a consequence, I decided to make my own paper for art purpose.
I have no problem looking for recycle papers as we got quite a bit of junkz mails, brochers, even egg cartons are good ones too! I prefer ordinary paper, without waxing or plastic material.
Firstly, soak the paper/cardboard you want to recycle for few hours in order to soften the texture. If the paper is over waxed, the water won’t be able to penetrate the paper, and the process is no way to continue. ^_* (speak from personal experience)
Once it is completely soaked, blend them. Yes, until they look like this:
Traditionally, porous wired frame was used. However, I don’t have one here, and I want to make a thicker card, therefore I go with an old old chopping board.
The reason I use this particular chopping board is it has fine lining which will give a nice lining on the paper. You will see what I mean by the end of this post.
Once got the chopping board and blended paper, spread them across the surface of the chopping board evenly. Use old news paper to absorb excessive water. It helps alot!
I dry them behind the house backyard. Best to do it when the sun is strong, so they dry quickly.
You can try in hot-air oven, but from personal experience it did not dry them up completely. And it was quite difficult to take them off from the chopping board. It is not a good idea at all.
TA DAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those are the re-cycle papers I’ve been making. I did most of them during Autumn when the sun was still warm. =)
Have a closer look, this is the fine lining and surface I was refering to.

Recycle papers don’t normally smell great like those commercialised paper. Here’s another tip for you, you can slip some perfumed-cards in between your recycle papers, so you will get nice aroma. I picked some perfmed cards up when I walked pass Myer. I know, call me ‘cheap-skate’ =P
Oh yeah, to finish of your recycle papers and for storage, use heavy thick books like those… put one or two of these books on top of the papers, plus slipping the perfumed cards. You will bet a nice recycle papers.
Have fun making your own recycle papers. For those in ozzie..oh yeah, you gotta wait till Summer. *_^
Finally! I managed to post around 15 pictures.
I thought it was going to rain.. But, the weather turnt out way way better than I thought.
