Fabulous Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Great! I had fabolous weekend and Friday. My mood was extraordinary fabulous–oh well! I handed in all the uni works way before their respective due dates. Yes, yes, I know, I know, I am a good girl
Friday:
Me and Kian went to Sails Seafood Restaurant at Fremantle. We haven’t been eating by ourselves for quite sometimes already, I think.

We were given window seats with ocean view. Splendid!! How cool is that?

Freo is famous for fresh seafood, fish and chips. I have seafood everytime I come down to Freo. Hehe.. I love seafood, very much.
I ordered grilled seafood–clayfish, prawns and scallops, also come with kilpatrick oysters, mussels on a bed of chips. All the seafood were perfectly cooked. Too yummie.

Kian ordered GB’s Yumbowl - a Large Bowl Filled with Half Lobster in the Shell, Prawns, and Reef Fish, finished “Gumbo Style” in a Creole Spiced Lobster Sauce. The sauce is superb; the lobster turn out slightly softer and lightly flavored with the creole spice.. It is excellent! If you go down Sails, this is a must-try main course from the main menu.

Oh yeah, this is picture of us with the ocean view.

By the way, did I tell you we celebrate our fifth year anniversary? YES, FIVE years!! and it is still counting. Cheers~!!!! =)

Saturday:
We drove up to Joondalup to see the crowd, because in Perth, you don’t often get to see a place jampacked with people. No lah!!! I am just kidding. Ekekekek. It was Joondalup Festival.

Joondalup is a newly booming small town, approximately 30-minutes drive from Perth. Pretty isolated by itself.
We walked around the market area. Woooah!! Art gallery, paitings, food, paper craft, earings, organic soap and candles… all locally made. It was so so cool.

This is part of the wall painting. When I looked at the whole picture, I think it tries to tell a story of local teen life? Not? I am not sure. When come to this type of art, it takes me a bit longer to imagine a ‘thing’. =)

Dear, oh dear! Kian bought me a sugar floss. *wink wink* I haven’t eat sugar floss since I was very very young, pre-kindy, maybe?? Oh gosh! My hardwrok 60minutes swimming session in that afternoon all gone down to the drain. Haih!! [oh well, I guess is OK, rite? I only have it once in a blue blue moon] Hee Hee ^_*

We tried some local food as well. This is a stall selling Pupusa. The stall look like someone selling roti canai or murtabak, right? (if it is so, you are too Malaysian, HaHa!) Jk.

This is my first attempt. It was topped with vegetable and a little bit of chilli sauce. Darn! I shoulda tell the lady don’t add the chilli sauce.. Thank god, I didn’t cry. Heheehe… the spicyness is still in my limit. ;P

Oh!! Guess what? We saw Ernie Dingo!!! If you watch Channel Seven, The Great Outdoor, then you know who is Ernie, if not, nevermind. *_^

This is Robert and me–Ummm, what we were looking at? Nothing! We were acting funny.

Sunday:
I woke up at 8am, get myself organised ’cause I went swimming with Encik Loo at Leeming. We went dim sum after that with Jo, Robert, Faadzel and Kian . Hmm, is like I totally waste of my enery used in exercise. But then, again, I tell you: It is superb SHIOK!!!! Shall we do it more often? =)
I didn’t join them to shop in city. Went off, bought a bunch of sunflower on the way back. Me and Kian visited a friend of mine in hospital.
Mandy got a baby GIRL!!! Awww!!!! It was awesome!! 9.5 pound healthy baby girl.

Mandy and Sean named her ABBY. Abby has big eyes, long finger nails; she is quite, doesn’t cry much. They will tell what’s her hair and eye colour when Abby grows up. Interesting.
Oh well, not bad being an Asian anyway; Asian babies are so much predictable–dark hair, yellow skin, dark brown eyes… I love mine. Never dye my hair (dying dark hair at late 30s is exceptional), never wear coloured contact lense, never use skin-whitening product. I just love mine =)

Till then. *smile*
Have a nice week ahead ^_^

Hey forgot to tell you,Best grlic fried crab in Sydney. Tiew’s restaurant is located in downtown Sydney, sharing the same wall with Canton. Canton is a lot bigger with bright tacky decor ..etc real easier to spot fro mteh street, you can’t miss it. Tiew’s not that obvious, if you can’t find it, you can always ask the fine folks at Canton “吾該,請問邊度有Tiew’s seafood?.
cooknengr: ok..I will check it out when I go Sydney next time =)
