Sarawak Black-Peppered Chicken Drumsticks.

Kian’s mom bought quite a bit of those Sarawak Peppery prduct for him from Miri. Cool! I like pepper. Guess what even cooler? It is damn easy to make. Unless, you don’t know how to use the oven.. =P
The basic ingredient is chicken. Chinese black mushroom is an optional. I personally like mushroom ; I like to edit or modify some of the cooking material.

The preparation is simple. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degree celcius. Wash the chicken, and powder it with Sarawak Black Pepper. The amount of pepper used may be varies. If you like it hotter, then you obviouly need to use more. Sliced mushroom is best placed/hide under the chicken, so the aroma of mushroom could be enhanced.
Wrap the chicken properly in aluminium foil. Warning: loose packing may delay cooking time, and worst, the chicken may burn =)

Place it in the oven at 270 degree for 30minutes and then 170 for another 30minutes.

Ta Daaaah!!!!!!!!…………….. See! very simple and easy, right?
By the way, always have a quick check if the chicken is properly cooked before you taking them out from the wrap. Chicken drumstick, thigh parts are quite tricky due to the ‘thickness’ of the meat.

In this case.. they are well cooked. =P

Yum.. Yum…

Serve and Enjoy~!!! =)

Finally, I am home! =)

I was admitted to Royal Perth Hospital since last Thursday, and being discharged yesterday. I am still feeling tired, nausea.

I was rushed to hospital by David. I complainted about my stomachache, nausea, dizziness. I don’t know which come first. I thought it was just period pain or gastric thingy. But God knows after several hours of diagnosis, the doctors confirmed with me: I think it is an appendicitis OK! whatever, gimme pain killer and put me into sleep. You can ‘cut’ whatever you want after that.
I wasn’t really sure whats happend next. I know they put quite a numbers of needles into my arm. I was quite pissed off as the stubborn doctor didn’t want to listen my advise. I told him he can simply find my best vein to get the blood out of my arm; I always have pretty good vein from my previous blood donation experience. BlooooOOdy hell!! He ‘kuai lan’ used another spot!! and you know what happend la! Blooood all over everywhere! I damn TL man!
Staying in hospital is NO FUN, I kid you not. Only very minority of nurses are hot. =(
I was fasting for 2 days. Strictly speaking, it was 3 days, cause I didnt feel like eating after the operation. They put me on sodium chloride drips. Not to mention the rest of the medication such as morphine, tramadol, metronidazole etc etc….
My frequent visitors were Faadzel and David. (Most of my pictures were gone during the bluetooth transfer process yesterday) Faadzel got me this beautiful sunflower. I love sunflowers at any occasions. =P David and his friend got me little orchid. Cool yeh? I don’t need to wait for Valentine’s day to receive flowers.

I couldn’t have Irwan to stay abit longer. I had to hold my wound tightly and tried not to laugh at the same time. He told me how he ‘killed’ a magpie while he was playing golf. Damn! How could I missed out such a great moment. He is such a good golfer. Not everyone can aim and kill a flying bird as easy as that. 2-fingers salute, dude.

The food served in hospital obvisouly suXX. I didnt have much. I refused to smell them either. They make me feel I am sicker than ever. Anyhow, I had to put a big smile to receive the food as the nurses are superb nice to me. He kept asking me what I really like to eat. Hmm.. should had have asked for a Big Mac burger and some french fries or something. =P One thing for sure, they served better sandwiches than this LOL

4 days in hospital is like a dream/nightmare(?). All I did was open eyes when I heard doctors or nurses stand close to me , smile to nurses, needles poked into my arms, smile again, say ‘Thank you’ and go back to my dream.

Thank God, I had window bed. I look at the sky everyday, imagine I am flying. All I can dream for my destination is home.

p/s:Kian got back from Adelaide on Saturday.I am with him =)

Happy Chinese New Year to ME!!– Home Alone version 2

Oh! Oh! Oh!! Guess what? I saw Lion Dance on Chinese New Year Day!!!!! I am soooo excited!

I went down to town as I wanted to grab some egg tarts before I missed out. What? You mean what am I talking? Yes, I am serious here: Hoi’s Kitchen Dim Sum restaurant owner ends the bussiness on 1st February.

I walked from back alley, and I saw a big crowd standing in front the shop.
Oh dear! I hope I no need to wait for ages for 2 egg tarts =)
The Lion danced their way to the restaurant…..
As you can see here, there are few kids who are playing the instrument.. superb ‘keng’. Oh! the one who playing the drum is a girl! Hehe! They danced (shaking the arse) for only few minutes.. Oh well, it wasnt as fantastic as those in Malaysia ones, but those aussie applaud harder than the Chinese.

I miss home. Not much. Just a bit.
