Soupy Summer
We are experiencing cold summer thesedays. It is abit weird. Summer dont normally rain.. Anyway, it does not really matter to me. I am typical Chinese who just love my soup =) Blime, I can slurp those hot soup even when the temperature rises till 44 degree celcius.
Today..Let me present you my ABC soup!
Hello! Give face a bit, can ah? *smile*… and applause ;P
This is rather simple dish. Ingredients used are skinless chicken, potato, carrot and onion. A little bit of salt. Cooking method? Even easier: ‘throw’ everything in the pot, add water, and bring to boil.
Oh yeah, Chinese loves white rice as well.. =P

I love the version of soup u cooked ~ I used to cook that very frequently as well : chicken, potato, carrot, onion + fresh tomato. Adding in tomato will make the soup taste nicer. Try it when u make this soup next time
Hahha… I don’t slurp hot soup. Will burn my tongue leh.. I will let it cool down a bit before drinking it

Chen: hehe.. actually I added tomato as well, i forgot to say that =) i normally boil the tomato until they disappear.
Depending what sort of soup.. i like white paper in chinese soup, and black pepper in ang moo creamy soup.

I made Bak Kut Teh yesterday, but i didnt take picture. hehehhe
it looks good and it’s easy to make but i can’t eat right now coz i just did a second tongue piercing (impulsive decision over the new year period). doesn’t feel comfortable but your soup sounds just about right. nothing to chewy or disintegrating.
Finally! a normal food…hehehe…but still the soup looks good…i love soup and i think my mom make one of the best cream chicken soup…but thats what i think lah…being a mama’s boy and all…

jellyfish: oh! that one tak-halal meat.. have to but in Chinese Butcher.. those in local (aussie) butcher pork smells and taste funny. so, we use chicken more loh! =P
