Valentino’s Restaurant, Northbridge.

I was really lazy to go out after exam, all I want to do is stay at home and rest, not sleep. All I want to is watching tv, dvd, blogging, eating cucumber, tomato and carrot sticks.

The thing is, I never get to do these quietly cause I am too busy catching up with friends and checking out new place for food. Ah! “Post-exam syndrome” I call this.

I meet up with some friends at Valentino, Mediterranean Cuisine. Thank Buddha, the initial plan gathering at Matsuri Japanese Restaurant didn’t work because Matsuri didn’t open for lunch time. =) Aiyah.. I seriously didn’t want to have Japanese food already cause I had almost the whole sushi platter when I was coluntering at WAAC (WA AIDS Council)

From left: Jackson, Joyce, Yen Li, SM, Thien, Me and Kian. The aussie guy in sunny standing behind me was random. =)

The lunch started with Bruschetta. I tasted a bit, generally not bad. But I wonder why they add the dark sauce around the dish. It destroyed the taste a little.

Jackson had T-BONE STEAK–400g T-bone steak cooked to your liking served with gourmet potatoes and a petit Greek salad with Mushroom sauce

Thien had SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE–Valentino traditional meat sauce served on al dente spaghetti pasta with shaved Romano cheese.

Yen Li had LAMB SHANKS–Honey & soy baked lamb shanks served on sweet potato mash with homemade onion rings and jus.
Joyce had VEAL SCALLOPINE–Tender slices of sautéed veal in light mushroom sauce served with garlic mash potatoes and buttered broccoli.
SM had this ..which I am not quite sure what is that. =)

Cynthia and Kian had nothing but coffee. Why? As we already meet up with another group of friends for dim sum before Valentino.. hehehe, I can’t have 2 lunches in 4 hours time =)

Thats the reason why I tasted nothing from those dishes I show you, and yeah, another cofession to make, those food descriptions are shamelessly copied and pasted from http://www.valentino.com.au

Have fun~!
